Great pen for a great price and not a compromise in quality
I have to say that for a pen that is less than $2 I did not expect it to be such a good pen. It writes smooth, delivers proper amount of ink and feels confortable in your hand. A real rare find. I also bought another Pen for $20 and was a bit disappointed compared to this one. I've played around with some fountain pens in the $100 range and did not feel even as good as his pen. I hope they don't raise the price based on te good reviews though.

Great disposable fountain pens at a great price.
If you're going to use a fountain pen to write with, forget Mont Blancs and all the other fancy looking pens you can buy here, when there's a low cost, reliable, very good writing pen that writes incredibly well, doesn't dry out for months and months as long as you leave the cap on, and doesn'y have that scratchy feeling when your writing. And if you like to add expression to your writing especially around the holidays, the Pilot Varsity comes in a ton of colors that all write just as good.

A great intro to fountain pens
I was pleased that I could order these individually and not have to get the other colors as well. They work great, and have opened my eyes to the glory that be pens of a fountain. I'm not going to commit hari-kari if I lose one of these either, unlike some of the other beautiful samples I've seen and lusted after in the past that can climb well into the triple digits. I don't think I've got to worry about any coworkers stealing these either since they look relatively plain. The ink flows super smooth and looks great. Beats a standard ballpoint any day of the week, and is relatively similar to a nice gel pen. Not for left handers though, you end up pushing the tip into the word/paper rather then gliding over the paper.

Good for entry level but nothing to write home about
Shipping was pretty decent, they arrived a day before the predicted time frame. I was pleased. Not a big deal at all, but the design on the pen is not what you see in the picture, it is a dark grey color with a pattern.I have never owned a fountain pen before so this was a good start. I bought 2 because they're fairly cheap. The ink flow is alright but cuts out frequently. It's fun to write with as opposed to the conventional ballpoint pen. My only problem is it bleeds through the paper and the line comes out pretty thick. It's pretty similar to what you get when you write with a sharpie pen. Also I broke one of these because the tips are very bendy, I was just putting on the cap and I missed.. the metal tip got completely bended back.I would recommend this product as a interesting thing to have every once in a while, but for everyday use you may want to invest your money into a more expensive option.

Awesome pen!!
I've been wanting a fountain pen for a long time and wanted to try it out so i decided to buy this Disposable pen to see if id like it. Well I'm really impressed with this particular pen. The pen doesn't leak threw paper like people said unless you over right on the same place twice. Its smooth and easy to write with. I bought it from Tradecozone and I received the pen very quick. I recommend this seller and pen to anyone interested in not spending a lot of money.

Great pen, not just for calligraphers
I used the Pilot G2 for years, and I thought it was the perfect pen. I tried the Varsity, and loved it even more. It writes more smoothly than the G2 and the Sharpie pen. However, the ink is more liquidy than the gel ink in the G2, so it bleeds through thin paper more than the G2 does. Also, the thin ink makes the pen run out more quickly. I wrote about 5 pages' worth of material per week, and the pen ran out in just over a month. The Varsity is priced pretty competitively with the G2 and Sharpie pen, if not just a tad more expensive, so switching pens won't necessarily break the bank. Don't be discouraged by the fountain tip if you're not into calligraphy--I think it writes beautifully. If you're unsure, buy this single pen, try it out, and if you like it, maybe go back for a bulk pack.

A worthy pen
An inexpensive pen that will last a little while, and it doesn't have to be disposable.

Nice little pen.
I loved this pen! All the functionality of a higher-priced fountain pen in a more disposable format. I don't have to worry about losing this one or leaving it behind (I can be such a klutz when it comes to keeping track of things! I don't trust myself with an expensive fountain pen.) It writes quite smoothly considering its just a throwaway. I didn't notice any excessive bleeding or inconsistencies in the flow. Would definitely buy again!
