Cadix UK 20 x 20 x 20cm Planter Square - Black

Have purchased these before. They are a good colour, heavyish but not overly, suits me fine. However packaging terrible! Two arrived broken. One chipped corner other smashed. In box no packaging inside at all! This is not how my earlier Cadix planters arrived with bubble wrap.

We bought 3 of these beginning of July after wait thinking. Planter them up about 3 weeks later once we decided what to put in them (Hebes). About 3 weeks later (mid August, just before we went on holiday) I took these photos. 2 of the 3 are cracked, one is broken on all 4 corners. Problem is they look great but so not fit for purpose!

Update after 4 years of owning this product. Sadly it does not last. The colour started to fade, which I could have lived with, but now the planter has split on one corner, presumably due to roots.This is as high quality as its reputation suggests, and has a good drainage hole in the base - looks striking and has received compliments from neighbours.

Lovely item, very modern and contemporary, so good I ordered two, my fuchsia’s look stunning in them.

The picture is misleading as it shows that the planter is straight down inside but in fact it has a large lip. This makes it very difficult to remove and re-pot a plant without braking the container to bits. Also from the picture you would think the material used in the construction of the planter was thicker than it is. Very disappointing.On top of all that we ordered 4 of these planters and the first one to arrive was smashed as the packaging left a lot to be desired.We eventually found exactly what we wanted in a local garden centre.

This large contemporary planter is of great quality & will not rust which is a bonus. It looks fantastic now we have planted it with our precious standard bay tree. I have others of the same make & would recommend the purchase. It was very well packaged & delivered speedily.
