Why don't they just put all the pieces in one bag?
I've done the big brand builds in the past and didn't appreciate the each-step-in-one-bag thing they did. It felt like cheating. Um, shame on me. I totally get it now. But don't get me wrong. I'm an accomplished puzzler. I can finish a 1000 piece puzzle in two or three days, so hundreds of pieces available all at once isn't overwhelming to me. It just takes a little bit more space and planning. This set was like that, but I think it was worth it.This set is everything the listing promises. All the pieces were there. The build looks just like the pictures when completed. It takes some time to build, so you can definitely check off that challenge box. But it isn't hard to do and the instructions are very clear. I had no issues with bricks fitting, or not fitting, together. The third floor is a bit fiddl-y going back on if I remove it, but thats how these bricks work. Figures fit in the rooms nicely as some reviewers have shown in their pics, so it's a playable build. I love the finished results, and the pieces are interchangeable with the major brand.Brick quality/comparability - I added stairs to the open side because I could. I have both branded and unbranded bricks mixed together. I've had more issue with brand bricks not fitting together than non-brand so..., I'm just gonna say it. I prefer non-brand, which this set is. Oh, and I built each level separately to not stress what was already finished. I feel I had better control being able to press the walls or floor from bottom and top. Building and fitting stairs did not majorly disturb the build. But the floors are mostly just unsecured plates. So, come at them from above and below when adding figures and other features, in case you need to press harder than connections can take. Here's where I had a problem. I'm a brick sorter. I like to open a bag and lay out those pieces in some kind of order before even looking at what I need for the first few clicks. This is the second of these sets that I've done, so I already knew I wasn't going to have enough time to do that for this one. It can't be completed in one sitting. And you have to open every bag for that numbered layer for one or two pieces at each step, not page, from step one, until all bags are open. So just open them all. There's no way around it.So, I set up the box with every bag number 1 open and... proceeded to search through every bag for every piece I needed. And I thought it was frustrating with that first build I did, having to sweep sorted pieces into a sealable bag and re-sort them when I had time to work on it again. The thought process with this second one was to be able to close the box on all those open bags and move it without losing any pieces. That part worked, but it made finding each piece an exercise in frustration. Just give in and dump all the same numbered bags into one pile and sort them. I no longer see that as cheating. If you can't dedicate your space until it's done, keep a bag or bin handy and resort when you get back to it. It will still take you over 5 hours to finish this build. The first floor took me over 3 hours. Same for the second the following night, because I was still searching through those bags. The third day I sorted the remaining pieces on a break in the morning, which took me about 20 minutes. And completed the third layer in an hour, give or take, a few minutes at a time during the rest of the day. I did not count the time spent pulling out my own bricks and adding stairs. That was later that evening and not part of the set, so that few hours was on me. It was also totally fun.I ordered the next building in this set and am planning to use a puzzle sorter system this time. With the right frame of mind, this "issue" of hundreds of pieces all at once can be made fun and easy. Just trust in the process. Like I said, the instructions are very detailed and clear. And they're there if you make a mistake too. I had to reverse some steps in this build twice because I was rushing and missed color or shape detail. It was all me, not the booklet. Keeping that for when I take these apart. Now imagine that. You open the box to find all the pieces in one giant bag with the instructions. That's how mine will be stored because I don't have room to store the finished builds. These do not fit back in the box after they're built. It will be even more fun the second time! :)

High Quality Off Brand Set !
I was not sure what to expect this being what one might call on off-brand. I was 110% satisfied and thought this was a great looking and very well made set. There are no missing pieces nor warped pieces whatsoever. And significantly lower in price than the leading brand. The building design is clever, the instructions are easy to follow, and the construction is solid. I bought this intending to experiment with some architectural ideas, but I ended up having fun just piecing it together as-is.

Beautiful, Well-Made & Charming!
Enjbrick has several buildings that are part of their City series and I have five of them. Each one is equally charming in its details and easy to assemble. The instruction book is full color with visual guides, which make it easy to follow. These can be built by two people. I enjoy working on them in solitude. Each one takes a few hours and I'm always sad when it's complete. Instead of taking them apart again, I'm leaving them assembled and set up as a little city centre. If you love puzzles and architecture, you'll love putting together these kits. They are as detailed and quality as Lego but only a third of the price. I think of them as 3-D puzzles and when compared to a jigsaw puzzle, they don't cost that much more but provide a great deal more engagement and fun. These are perfect for all ages, except maybe very young children. But even then, with supervision, they would enjoy helping to put it together. I'm completely charmed by each of these buildings and marvel at how the engineers create them! Also, it's a great way to exercise your brain! Love these and hope they make more in this series.

Excellent knock off
Gifted the city cafe set to my 11 yo for her birthday, after she asked for 'a really big Lego house kit.' It arrived in a box with numbered mini bags and a colored pictorial directions booklet. She built it solo in 3 days and reported only 1 missing piece. The second floor is unreinforced so she built that up with Legos from her own set so she could play with figurines inside. The furniture + accessories are charming, the design is easy to follow, and the final product is impressive looking. The pieces seem well made and compatible with name brand sets. We will get more of these in the future, given the high quality and much lower price to Lego sets.

Frustrating
This project was the most frustrating thing I’ve ever helped my child with. The brick pieces are connected very poorly via the instructions. It falls apart when you are building and while attempting to fix one side, the other side falls apart. I would recommend spending a few extra dollars and buying the real thing.

Addicting Luv luv luv it!
I was not sure about it when I purchased, but wow it was great. Quality and colors are perfect! Such detail inside too! It was fun to build and I was obsessed and could not stop! Great fun project for a weekend!Took some time to sort and find what pieces I needed but that way it took a little more time to have fun. Instructions were easy to follow and each piece worked just fine! Not the building blocks I grew up with, This was great! Now I’m looking for another one! I’m going to need a book shelf to put them all on! Luv, luv, luv it!

Great set for the price
For the price, this is a great set with some really fun details. It was a nice challenge to build and the instructions were clear. I built this with my 5 and 12 y/o over the course of a day. They enjoy playing with it. The only thing I was disappointed about was the light brick. I thought they would be individual bricks, not one singular brick with a string of seed lights. It's tough to play with and move the mini figures around when there is a wire in the way. All in all very happy though.
