Great value for money, played with for a couple of hours, my daughter loved it. She created several potions using her imagination as to what ‘power’ each one had. Will definitely recommend and repurchase for a rainy day activity. Would be great fun for ages 6-9yrs.

My girls love creating potions and mixing paints etc so these are a hit here in our house. We’ve purchased several times. They love pretending each potion has magical powers. Lots of glitter and colours. Different bottles and stoppers. Great for rainy days.

A nice set of potion making equipment for a budding witch or wizard. The set comes with bottles, glitter, crystals, stones and liquid pigment to make up the potion. To add to the magic of it, there is a mixing bowl, spoons, funnels to get the mix into a bottle and some decorative labels. Finally, there is some cord and pendants to make these into a jewellery item if need be. This can be a bit messy, so a table and covering is recommended. I got this for my young daughter who was delighted, but I had to instil into her not to drink the potions. I didn’t want to have that conversation about magic potions and elixirs with a doctor! We had quite an enjoyable time mixing up different ingredients. Some were added directly into the bottles with some mixed in the bowl. I did have a little spillage with some of the pigment and whilst it didn’t stain, I wouldn’t completely trust that it will come out of every type of garment. It was a nice toy, but it has limited playability. Once the bottles have been filled it is pretty much done with. You can re-use the bottles if you empty them out (corked) and there were some ingredients left over to allow a few more potions to be made. Bottom line: This would make a great present for a little one who loves the idea of apothecary in a magical sense. Can help with bonding through playtime.

Got this for a 6 year old birthday and she absolutely loved it, right up her street. Lovely activity to sit and do for a crafty girl

I can live with a bit of mess for the joy of my daughter who is 6 having an afternoon of entertainment. She now wants to buy as presents for all her friends so not much better recommendation.
