Works a bit too well. My first time installing anything to my car. I was able to find the fuse box location of my 2022 benz gla online. Hooked it up accordingly. Make sure the wires are properly connected. It took me about a couple hours from start to finish. I’m sure it could be done less, but it was hot af and took time bc i had to go borrow some tools from my friends.After plugging everything in, it worked.One downside is that it kills the car battery. So these days, since i drive short distance, i have it unplugged

Great replacement for a smashed one I had. Camera works without a flaw again with a good wiring kit.

This is my go to dash cam kit. I've used it my in all 3 of our vehicles and what I really like is the ability for it to allow my dash cams to take advantage of the "parking monitor" mode if your camera has a similar feature. That way even when the car is off they can still power up if need be, but otherwise they will startup and do full recording when the car is running. I've had cheaper kits burn out or be DOA which is annoying but this brand always seems to work very reliably and the cables are easy to route and are higher quality so they don't crinch up like cheaper kits. I bought a dash cam because I parked in the parking lot of my job, and one of my lovely coworkers decided to scratch my car and left without out reporting it. This hardwire kit will assist me in having my own camera recording 24/7. Will be installing the other kit in my wife’s car.

The diagram is wrong, the red wire is supposed to go to the ACC and the yellow is supposed to go to the battery, which is completely backwards. The image shows the incorrect wiring, but the wiring on the box itself is correct. I started by wiring it the wrong way. Probably why the item is returned so often. Other than that, it seems to work OK, although I would opt for one with a timer and voltage setting next time.

This is a great kit and for the money you can’t beat it. It included all sorts of fuse adapters and should work for just about any car. It makes a dash cam or any other install for a USB-C install, seamless. There’s plenty of cabling so even the farthest fuse panel is reachable.
