An excellent value hose connector with a stop tap. It works a treat when I wash the car or fill the kids paddling pool - and saves trips back and forth to the garden tap.It fits my Gardena hose perfectly with no leaks, drips or connectors popping off. It's also much less messy and more convenient than the auto-stop connectors I used in the past.IMHO, it is much better value than the branded equivalents - and just as good 👌😁👌

I often run the hose through the house to the front garden for watering or pressure-washing, and it's a bit annoying to run it out there, hook it up to the washer or whatever I'm using, then go back to the back garden to turn on the tap then go back out, then do the reverse at the end, so I decided to get one of these so I can just turn it on/off from the "far" end of the hose instead.This wasn't the cheapest option I found, but some I saw had reviews saying they leaked. I'm really pleased with this one - it hasn't leaked at all, it holds back full mains pressure with no problems at all. It makes my Hozelock trigger spray head, which I'm dissappointed drips internally a lot, much more useful, as I can just turn this valve off when I'm not using it to stop it leaking.The valve turns very smoothly with little effort. The connector fitting is the standard Hozelock-compatible fitting used by pretty much all garden hoses and accessories.

The hose fitted tightly into the connector and the other side fitted watertight as well. Sturdy. Good product.

Just what I needed to add a on/off control to the end of my garden hose. Great for when I'm washing the car around the back of the house

I got myself a pressure washer and if I use it at the front of the house I would have to run the hose from the back of the house to the washer,connect it,go and turn the water on, use it then reverse the process to disconnect it (or try to connect/ disconnect with the hose running and get wet). It also means leaving the equipment unattended while I do so. This eliminates the need to run backwards and forwards as the valve is on the end of the hose. No dripping so far as reported by other users. Really happy

This little connector is extremely helpful when you need to switch attachments without getting soaked but don't want to compromise on water pressure. There are several "aqua stop" valved connectors out there but they all have a major disadvantage, as they have a cross shaped blocking element in the way of the water flow, essentially reducing it. This can be harmful for your pressure washer as it may increase the chance of the pump running dry intermittently, where it would not under normal circumstances.So I guess this isn't needed much for regular garden hose applications (sprayer heads, etc) but I think it's essential for connecting pressure washers!Time will tell how long they last, I wish I'd found a version made of brass!

Excellent fitting for the hosepipe. Well made and quite robust. This is the second one I've bought as the first one only lasted 9 years!

I bought this and more expensive one.Keeping more expensive one but only as a spare and judging by this so far, won't need.Brilliant for helping me pole wash the motorhome
