Sensitive to small creatures
• Very much suggest that you do not remove the battery.• You can get a pinky finger blood blister and can also cause fatal cable failure when reinstalling thebattery. Leave it installed and locked down.• Charge the battery using the included charger module through the bottom coax connector portal, behind the lift-out rubber gasket on the bottom of the case.• The 10,000mAh Lithium-Ion battery runs the camera for a very long time.• This is my go-to camera and is my second one and counting.• Wi-Fi models may be more desirable if you have a good, unobstructed view for downloading imagefiles. And especially Cellular models if located in more remote areas that do have cell coverage.• Field of view is quite good and for capturing small animals when sensitivity is set to High.• You can review image files by turning the control switch to Test Mode and then pressing OK.Advance frames by pressing the Up button, reverse pressing Down button.• Easy to remove the SD card and then use a SD card reader with your computer to transfer files. Oryou can connect to PC using USB-C cable.• I recommend this camera.Overall Impression:Great build quality. Has excellent PIR sensitivity when set to High. The battery life is exceptional and is well-received. It can go a week of solid video capture. Even then it barely dips the remaining charge.

Great value with built in batter, screen, and no glow leds
I think this is a great camera, screen, security code, built in battery, comes with charger and cord to transfer pics, hi res, great pics and video, no glow leds are no glow ! It is missing in instructions how to view pics, when you boot in test you have to hit ok then menu to view stored pics and videos. Has two menus, setup and review, just a bit tricky to get into view mode. I had 900 pics and 150 video clips on it in 3 days and 98% battery life ! Very impressed.

Overall excellent game camera for an excellent price - very happy
Overall this is an excellent game camera with all the usual features and options. It is mostly intuitive to configure and operate. I have two of these cameras, one which I have owned for over a year, and they are much more reliable and convenient to use than any other game camera I have ever owned. The lithium battery is great - I will never purchase another game camera that requires disposable batteries. The battery lasts for weeks without needing charging and is very simple to charge. If I were going to buy another game camera I would get another of these. Here are the few things that could use improvement:1. Sometimes the lens fogs up on the inside even when the camera was set up on a dry day so I suspect the seal is not adequate. It does often help to put something over the camera that keeps the rain off, though that is not always convenient.2. I have never seen a low battery indication but sometimes things stop working (e.g., won't take pictures at night) and charging seems to fix the problem. It would be great if there could be some advance warning of this from the battery indicator so I don't have to guess when it needs charging.3. The SD card has to be reformatted in the camera after using it with Linux, though the linux machine has no trouble reading the card. This is a minor nuisance. I just reformat the card every time I put it back in the camera.4. The instructions leave a lot to be desired and are especially unclear about charging. I did figure it out though and charging is very simple - just use the provided charging cord to plug into the small port in the bottom of the camera which I think is labeled in the manual as for external power supply. You don't need to open the camera to charge but I do because there is a light inside that goes from red to green when the battery is charged. There is also a light on the charger which is always green, indicating, I presume, that it has power from the outlet.5. The camera is a little slow to start recording when it triggers so you might not catch something that is moving fast; similarly there is a delay between successive images or videos (5 sec?). I have seen better specs on other cameras but this is a small thing considering all the other areas where this camera excels.Having listed some minor complaints, I want to emphasize again that this is by far the best game camera I have owned and there are no others I would recommend. All the other game cameras I have owned have had numerous serious problems or died after a short time, and cost a lot more. I was almost at a point of never buying another game camera when I decided to try this one. So I highly recommend it and I hope the sellers keep improving on this excellent product.

Lots of good features--but it records 4K at 10fps and 2.7K at 20fps
It was unclear what's in the box. It contained: the camera with the battery installed. There is no way to add alkaline batteries as an option. Unit had a 32gb SD card installed. Also included: mounting strap, mounting base with extension that connect to the camera. It can be swiveled to mount the camera at 90 degrees (like on the side of a building). Also contained a charger with attached cable for the battery, and a second cable that plugs into a USB port. Confusing things: when I plug in the battery for charging, a green light comes on. Does that means it is charging or it is full? The directions say to insert the SIM card! The hole it points to is labeled "USB" on the device and it looks like a USB port (and the second cable is a USB-C to USB-A). SO, looked pretty good. Then I took videos: 4K is at only 10 frames per second (fps). Standard 4K definition is 24 or 48fps. At 10 fps per second your eye can see the change in frames. Returned unit.

Battery
Horrible battery system, if you aim the camera down the battery will disconnect just enough to not work. Also, watch the wires so they don't get pinched when you put the battery in or close the camera.

Rechargeable and has a quick response to motion
Bought this to replace my battery-operated trail cam because batteries are so f’in expensive these days! So glad I bought it. It reacts quickly to movement, produces clear videos, and the rechargeable battery is lithium so it won’t go dead in cold temps. Love it!
