Been using this hair spray for years - secret is not to spray too close to the hair. But if you do have hair-spray build up (and this tends to happen whatever brand of hair spray you use), try the bicarbonate of soda trick as a pre-hairwash treatment on the hair that's affected (google how to). This works brilliantly for me and doesn't damage the hair.

After setting your hair in the morning, a light quick spray is all that is needed for the day. Go out in the wind or rain, your hair stays in place. Great!
