You'd be a mug to expect perfection for this price but the only discernible failing is in poor quality label printing on one part of the remote where the word 'MUTE' is badly misaligned. It works perfectly. Buttons feel precise and as far as I can tell, it carries out every function of the original OE remote. Why pay more?

I've now bought two of these, so that tells you something.It's a direct replacement for a Samsung TV remote and doesn't need programming. I'm using it with a 5+ year old Samsung 42" and 32" screens. The 42" actually had a very different looking remote but it still works. Samsung TVs must all pretty much use the same remote codes.This remote feels a little lighter and a little more plasticky than the original but not by much. Some of the buttons have a rather flatter feel than the original too, but it really doesn't matter. On the plus side this remote has a LIGHT function which lights it all up so you can see it in the dark! It's genuinely useful.But all the functions work and its so ridiculously cheap that i can forgive anything else. Well recommended.

Yes. There are a few differences between the replacement controller and the original, but nothing significant. All of the buttons down to the coloured 'A', 'B', 'C', 'D' buttons appear to do the same thing. My 2010 TV does not appear to respond to four of the buttons just below the coloured buttons, 'Social', 'Search', '3D' and 'E-Manual', whereas it did respond to buttons in the same position on the original controller. However, there is an alternative way of getting to the internet apps and, I daresay, an alternative way of achieving what the other buttons did - I've just not been interested enough to find out. Considering the price of this replacement at under £5, compared with the significantly higher price of a genuine Samsung replacement, I simply cannot fault it.

This works most of the time, but I don’t think it’s going to last long.The buttons are a little stiff and sometimes temperamental and won’t work at all, just as frustrating as my old one, but needed to keep it as my old one completely burst so this will have to do until I find a better one.

Our dog ate our remote control, I went onto amazon, found the same one, it arrived the next day. It's not a genuine Samsung remote control, I'm not sure I even knew that, or care. It feels lighter than the original. But it works - what more could I ask for! Delighted!
