I have owned this antistatic rubber mat for about a year and all I can say is I wish I bought this mat sooner!With the numerous computer projects consisting of motherboard swaps, CPU upgrades, and swapping out displays I can definitely say this mat has been easy to use. The plugs and wires are all securely fit onto the antistatic mat and has functioned really well as it securely grounded my friend and I for every one of the projects I mentioned above.This antistatic mat feels premium and provides good value for the money as it has good durability and stays cool to the touch and does not overheat. very durable seeming mat. its the perfect size for my lab table area. the only issue i had was trying to take off the cord from the wristband, the snap seperated at the rivot, this one is good but it doesnt strech over my hand(big hands/narrow wrists) once the size is set. i like my years old band more. the locatable snap is great for if i need to work in a different section of the mat i just relocate the ground snap.. the 3pin 110V plug is perfect. i like it more than the old way of having to screw the ground the wire to an outlet housing or some other ground point. just plug in and yer set, moves easily too..

I needed a mat to do some upgrades to one of my laptops. I wanted something with a common point ground that would fit on my small bench and this is perfect.The mat laid flat first time I unrolled it with no need to weight the edges or corners. Checked everything with the appropriate meters and all is good. Plenty of room to lay out tools and parts without being cramped.I have only a couple of very minor concerns and certainly not worth deducting a star for. First, the yellow piece that goes into the wall socket is a tight fit. Do not attempt to force it or wiggle it to get it plugged in or you may snap the thin plastic pieces that fit into the Neutral and Hot slots on the wall socket. Instead just use a gentle but steady push without pressing up or down on the unit. It will go in and stay snug. Use the same caution removing it from the socket.The second thing is the wrist strap. It is made of rubber and not of the best quality. The method of attaching it to your wrist is not as secure as most other straps on the market. It could easily be stretched and broken IMO. Also depending on the heat/humidity of your work area the rubber could dry out and crack leading to failure. Lastly, Once you attach the grounding cord it is almost impossible to take off without damaging the strap. I would recommend you just leave it attached permanently.Since I have only owned it a very short time the one thing I can't speak to is the longevity. Only time will tell on that count.Overall I am very pleased with this kit. It is a valuable addition to my work bench and has increased my peace of mind when working on anything electronics related. I would recommend.

Data on static discharge information really isn’t that important to me, but who cares! It makes this Anti-Static pad look great! I have it on my work bench and looks much better than other pads I’ve used. Works great too.Recommend! 👍

Will buy another one that is larger for my other work bench also.
