very attractive. bought for a friend who keeps similar sized 'bantam' chickens (Barber D'anver - I think they're called).Easy to put together; the legs are welded steel bar & there is a screw-in ground spike which needs unscrewing from it's safe position and screwing back into position so it works as a ground spike. My friend liked the fact that they both have different poses rather than both being in the same pose. They were partly charged when they arrived, well protected in a sturdy cardboard box (plus Amazon packaging).They are well made from quite strong steel sheet, with the edges welded together, so they should last quite a number of years.My friends real cockerel is quite happy with them,but they don't respond to his clucks or advances like real hens. lmao.

Bought these for a bit of a laugh, but actually they are ok. Quite sturdy in a bronze effect lacquered metal. Single solar powered LED lasts a good few hours into the early hours (Summertime) and still going strong after a few weeks of use. The metal scroll panels on the side of the chickens actually give a nice lighting effect if they are placed next to a wall or fence.Required some minor assembly and a small amount of bending to get parts (feet) to fit but no trouble. I would recommend using the supplied ground spike and standing on soft ground or gravel to avoid toppling over.We like them but our real chickens are still getting used to them!

These are ABSOLUTELY fab! I have put them both in a large flower bed and they look absolutely wonderful and lifelike. At night, they set off the most wonderful pattern of light on the ground. The male is so regal watching over his hen and I'm sure anyone purchasing these lights would be as happy with them as I am. In fact, I was so impressed, as was my sister staying with me, that I have ordered her a pair and I don't think I will be stopping there! I would seriously recommend these solar hens to anyone looking for something different for their garden!

The solar hens are charming but not very well made. For the price they are fine. It is disappointing that they come poorly packed. They are squashed into the packing box, which means that parts of the items arrive bent and distorted. Happily, I have family member who has straightened everything out and managed to release the ground spike which was locked solid (in the wrong position). The solar switch is delicate, seemed not to work at first, but with some jiggling works now. I have seen the same items in our local garden centre at a higher price and the condition was no better. I hope that now they are 'tidy', they will stay that way. I do like them!

Mother hen was delighted with these. They cast a charming swirling pattern on nearby surfaces - they work best near a wall or large container to provide a sort of screen for the projection.Superb novelty that also works rather effectively. If they are to graze on grass, they benefit from a little pinning down to stop them toppling, and their feet are prone to detaching themselves from the body if you wish to move them around, but that's only a minor quibble, as they slot right back in.Overall, clucking good fun. It's a huzzah from me!

I love these chickens they are beautifully made and look really nice in the garden. I have four placed in the garden around my plant pots and they look great. They are solar powered so no batteries required. Charge up by day and let of a lovely subtle glow at night. Great value for money as the first lot I bought from elsewhere and they cost me £24.00!!

Die beiden Solarleuchten sind sehr hübsch und gut verarbeitet. Sie leuchten in der Dunkelheit schön klar. Sie kamen als Geschenk beim Geburtstagskind sehr gut an.

Die LEDS waren beide defekt. Die Verarbeitung nur wenig ansprechend. Wackel des Schwanzes. Besonderes enttäuscht, das es ein Geschenk war.
