Encryption and excellent customer service
The remote arrived within 24 hours and was exactly as described. The instructions for pairing were clear and concise. Unfortunately the encryption on my Marantec remote is 128 bit and the remote supplied does not support my particular model. This was not the seller’s fault as they highlighted the particular models the remote was compatible with, and I just assumed as it was also a Marantec with the same frequency all would be ok. The seller, once they realised my mistake, have given me a full refund. I would like to thank the customer service of the seller for their help / valuable feedback and their prompt replies to emails. I would recommend to other users as they were very fair, especially as it was my mistake.

They do work
They work fine, no problem. I purchased two pieces. On one of them the main button behaves a bit sluggish. You have to press and hold for 1 second until it takes effect. This does not seem to be a mechanical problem

Low quality, keep breaking
Have had to reorder because the first set stopped working. Within 3 months, the second set have broken too. Poor quality

Great quality fobs
These fobs are better than the originals. Work really.

Worked for me
Works well. I did have a bit of an issue programming it to my garage door but found a really easy utube video. Basically you can just hold the old and new transmitter near eachother and it programmes.

spare fob for Marantec 220
I followed the simple instructions to sync it using my original key. It took about 30 seconds and it worked first time. In truth I was quite suprised and very pleased when it opened and closed the garage door. The original is now safely put away and i just use this fob.

Already coded, so need to be decoded before you set them up.
There is a product information sheet with setting up instructions. I had problems with the pairing of the remote with my garage door opener. I tried the method of back to back mirroring (copying/cloning) of the new remote to a faulty (intermittent) one, and also tried by using my physical 3 pin link between the existing and new remote. Both processes failed to set up the remote control (of which I had two new ones). I finally figured out that the new remotes had to be reset (decoded/unpaired) by resetting them following instructions and key presses to blank their memory. They were then set up by cloning them from the original remote, using my 3 pin link.
