My 10 year old twin girls discovered this series when a friend of theirs left her book behind when she came to stay (Book 1, The Arctic Star). They absolutely love the series and now have books that they can't put down. They have been adapted to include modern references and this makes them very accessible to the youth of today - after all, they are growing up in a very different world to the one we grew up in! I honestly think that the changes have given the series a new lease of life, so they can continue being enjoyed by children, instead of outdated and sadly forgotten. A great move!

The detective stories of Nancy Drew are so excidting!

My almost 8-year-old granddaughter absolutely loved the original Nancy Drew books. She could not put them down. I got her a set of the Nancy Drew diaries and apparently she did not like them at all. I don’t know what the difference was or what the problem was, but I am going to have to try to scratch up some of the original Nancy Drew’s from 3/4 of a century ago. The Nancy Drew diaries just don’t seem to cut it.

Loved this purchase. My daughter's collection was destroyed so even though she is an adult now getting her the 90th anniversary collection was very special.
