NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING
Laws in my state require boats of a certain size to carry flares on board. My current ones were out of date so I bought these to replace them. Unfortunately, these were not what I thought they were. I was expecting flares that shot up into the air. These do not. They are just to hold in your hand. They still meet Coast Guard regs so they will stay in the boat. Just wanted to comment so others don't make the same mistake.
