Best thing about this grinder is that it works with one hand. I'm using it while cooking, so it helps to have one hand free.Next, The activation button is large and on the top. That makes it easy to find and press, brilliant. - unlike some other designs where the button is on the side and you have to rotate it into position to use it.It's also easy to fill, and I like the adjustable grind. The light isn't a big factor.The only negative is the grind speed. Compared with a normal, manual grinder, I'd say this grinds at about half the speed for me. Perhaps some future version could have a speed setting.

I like the charging base, though have only had to charge them once since the purchase, while using daily.The grinders also have downward facing light which makes it easy to see and control the application of Salt and Pepper.Great gift idea as well.

I was looking for a set in my newly remodeled kitchen, sort of a silly thing for an ex-cook to want but I just thought they would be cool to have.They work very well and holds a charge very well.If you want a little something on the kitchen counter, these are it.

.....The Single Grinder UN1 I had previously. That model (ASIN: B07DL2VKND) lasted less than 2 years. Also it wasn't rechargeable and the peppercorn compartment was smaller while being more difficult to refill as well. A couple more things wrong with the old one was that it was very noisy and electrically unreliable as far as the power button goes.This new one doesn't have ANY of the other pepper mill's shortcomings as described above. Being rechargeable (via USB C) and cheaper in price makes it an even better buy. I haven't had it very long, but I've already got a pretty good feeling about it.
