Shall We Dance?

Some really great music, from the Film Sound track. I liked the film and saw it on TV one weekend afternoon, resulted in me buying the album and inspired me to maybe learn to dance the Tango, I haven't found anyone to teach me yet but great music to listen to. By the way the music is the modern version of the film, not the earlier version with Yul Brynner.

I don't usually write reviews and felt I had to for this soundtrack as I read the other 2 reviews prior to buying this cd as I've seen the movie and loved all the music and due to those reviews I very nearly didn't purchase this soundtrack. However after much internet searching and investigation I made the decision to purchase the cd (especially as it's price was so low).One review asked where Gabriel Yared's song was and the implication was that the tango music was missing too. Both reviews were written in 2004 and I am unsure whether a change has been made to the cd since then.But the tango music is track 2 - Santa Maria by Gotan Project and the Gabriel Yared's song when Richard Gere is looking up at the music school is track 11 - The L Train.The music makes it suitable for listening to for a variety of situations and since receiving it I have listened to it numerous times.Definately a favourite in my collection.

Purchased this cd on the strength of the film and what a great soundtrack it is.

Very disappointing and not worth the money!

Bought this by mistake because I intended to buy the DVD but don't regret it. Lovely variety of ballroom dancing music. Cheers me up every time I play it. Can't stop having a dance round the bedroom to it.

Love the movie and love this disc. The music just makes you want to get up and dance! Also great getting a free MP3 download when you purchase the disc.
