tried about 10 other brands and none seemed to work well, even up to 40w strips, single die led's, and big brand grow bulbs.got one of these and the plants picked up immediately. theyre doing great. the bulbs run warm but not hot, ive got mine sat on a 1/2” acrylic sheet and it barely gets warm. id probably seal them up further if using inside a humid area, water can creep in the edges around the lamps even though they are tight fitting and theres a 120v in there and an open socket on the end. dab of silicone.couldnt be happier though. ive bought another and will no doubt buy more in the future. very nice basic but functional product.(warning: it does feel really cheap in the hands, it made my gut drop that i bought another lemon when i first opened it. but ignore that and plug it in, it works really well)

They all connect to each other and have their own own off switch and are very bright. I would purchase them again.

Lights are awesome. use them in all kinds of places.

They look to be nice growing lights it’s nice having the line plug one to the other l have them all set up with a timer we will see how they perform in May

Great for my seedlings. One light did not work, but an email to the company had a new one sent right to me. Quick response. Interestingly, the 24 hour timer is on an approx 30 hour cycle (I don't think my plants care).

This light works decently enough but I would prefer lights that are closer to 6500k for germinating and seedling growth. The BBOUNDER 4ft 6500k utility shop light actually outperforms this light and i believe it is because of the light spectrum emitted and not due to the extra wattage as I keep that light significantly higher up when starting my plants.Also, the frosted cover on the 6500k lights allow me to add a reflector and that light stays consistent. When attempting to use a reflector with the 2ft grow light, because there is no frosting, the reflection from the reflector has different colored lines cast down on the plants due to the differing LEDS.

Haven't tried them yet but set them up and they look like they will work great. Very bright light for the money

I needed some grow lights to keep my outside plants alive this winter. These have been working well thus far. I like the fact that I got the type you can hang from the ceiling as opposed to the other type I’ve had in the past- movable arm type things-having a drop ceiling helps with install. My office area makes me seem like a crazy plant lady but I’m okay with that!
