Handy
I am retired now, but I needed to demonstrate to some older women the bacis CPR procedures. This little heart was the perfect thing to use. It is rather firm, not for me but for some of the older women, but at least I felt like it gave them an idea of what it might feel like if ever they had to administer CPR. Easy to take with me to meetings and demonstrate.

Got the job done
This is a non electric training heart that has the consistency of a hard stress ball. That’s what you are buying (though I’m not sure I understood that that is what I was buying) I bought it to do cpr certification for younger teenagers where we didn’t have access to dummies. The trainer said it had utility and just the right amount of give to depress the 1 1/2 -2 inches required by cpr. The girl had fun with the hearts and became certified. I’m not sure how durable I think these things would be because as with all stress balls, the more you squeeze them, the less effective they are. After a one hour class, I could see that one of the two hearts I ordered was actually being pressed sideways as opposed to down. I suspect you would have to replace them relatively often if they were going to be used often. For our purpose they worked well.

It's a MEH for me
Use this for community education. It is not great but not awful. I find it to be very stiff and I've been using it for almost a year with 100s of people using it without it softening up yet.
