Easy install
Easy to install. Works great. Lil ones don’t slam fingers anymore

A handyman can put it in don’t depend on the directions
It functions very well, the installation instructions were what, not the most awesome, but several adjustments later I got it to work well

Feels Cheap, Damaged Screws, but Easy to Install
The product feels a bit cheap compared to what I expected. While the installation process was straightforward, I was disappointed to find that the screws that came with the product were damaged. I had to spend extra time finding replacement screws on my own, which was frustrating. Overall, it does the job, but the quality isn’t great, and the damaged hardware was a hassle.

The slow close hinges worked very well for my application
I could have got by with one slow close hinge but I used two for a cedar hope chest top lid. The lid is 16"x36"x1" and it closes slow without binding. Very nice closure.

Was great, gor about a month
Functioned as advertised. Until it didn't, letting the lid slam shut on fingers. Soft close just stopped, and it wasn't pretty. Lid within weight guidelines. Was installed for barely a month. Be careful.

Keep it open
Seems like a pretty standard lid day. If you’re building a container or some sort of bench with storage then you will need a lid. Stay to help keep it open I think. The same pretty standard and comparable to others I have seen. I like the overall design of this. Seems pretty straightforward to you I think
