As sturdy a brush as you’ll find
The photos don’t do this brush justice. This is NOT your typical generic discount paddle brush. She is TOUGH. Tough metal bristles with little give (not like those overly flexible wet brush or tangle teezer bristles). A decent weight (nice and heavy in the hand instead of a flimsy light plastic feeling as seen in the basic goody brushes at this price point). A respectable rubberized grip (no slipperiness or cheap light plastic feeling here either). A large surface area (I usually avoid oval paddles in favor of rectangular ones because I have so much hair, but this comb is nice and big). At this price, you aren’t going to find a sturdier and more reliable brush. I’ve used everything from the expensive ghd and drybar paddles to cheap gel grip ones from the pharmacy to the detangling ones for wet or dry hair. I’ve avoided traditional hairbrushes altogether and gotten some pretty wacky combs. I’ve tried bristles of wood, plastic, synthetic boar. I’ve tried the tough denman type styling brushes with the strong, inflexible, hard white teeth; this comb is like that, but with a little more grace. If you’re someone with a lot of hair that’s thick and dense, this is a really great staple brush to have. Beware that it takes a learning curve with how hefty and sturdy it is if you only ever use something like a wet brush. If you’re someone tangle-prone, simply throwing this into your hair and combing from root to tip will not be a pleasant experience. But if you’re looking for a brush that really feels good and thorough and you’re willing to be careful with it for the first couple of brushes (ie start from the ends when detangling like you’re supposed to, or if you work with leave in frizz product already), you’d be hard-pressed to find a better comb than this. If you’re like me and your hair is so absurdly thick that the detangling, traditional plastic bristle combs are far too gentle, but the fully stiff styling brushes at the other end of the spectrum almost hurt to use, this is great.

Durable, practical brush
I bought this brush over a year ago, to replace the exact same brush that I had for 7 years. I have to replace the last brush because the round plastic at the tip of the bristles started to fall off, exposing the metal part and makes hair brushing really uncomfortable. I loved my old brush, and I figured that it was already 7 years old so the adhesive that holds the tips might start to wear off (I used it inside the shower too), so I bought another one and am pleased with it. PROS: - It's cushioned, so it's comfortable to use. - The metal bristles really reduced statics. I used to own many other plastic brushes and I don't know if I looked better before or after brushing with them, because every single strand of hair tried to stand up. - It's durable. My previous one lasted for 7 years, and I used it every single day, even when traveling. I had my current one for over a year now, and all bristle tips are still there. Granted, I have soft, straight hair that does not tangle a lot. The tips may come off faster if your hair tangles more and puts more stress on those tips. - It's big enough to do a good job brushing and for styling/blow-drying, but small enough to take with me on travel, unlike the salon style brushes. - It's really inexpensive, so I can take it everywhere without having to worry about losing it. CONS: - The adhesive that glues the plastic bristle tips and the bristles together does wear off, and it's not fun to use when it does. (Ouch) - There is a groove between the cushion and the frame, and it traps a little bit of water inside. It's no big deal if you don't use it on dripping wet hair, or inside the shower like I do. Otherwise it takes a couple hours for it to dry completely. For its price, it's an excellent product. Can't be more happy about it.

Perfect brush
Love this brush for small tangles. Soft bristle tips but firm. Works great on wet hair.

best of its kind
I chose this brush because I wanted metal bristles instead of nylon like most brushed of this style offer. It’s the only cheap option I found, which is why I decided to buy it. I do like the brush and think the metal works better for my hair and reducing static’s However, the bristles stated to fall out rather quickly and easily. Also, this brush is not easy to clean because of the jagged edges of the nylon bristle tips around the metal bristle. For the price, I cannot really complain. It is a full size brush, feels relatively light, and is easy to grip. It used to come in more colors, but now seems to only be available in teal. I am thinking of buying a few more just in case they stop making this and I cannot find another metal bristle with nylon tip brush, especially at this price point.

Good Brush for Everyday Use
This brush works really well for detangling without pulling or causing too much breakage. The metal bristles with the cushion base feel sturdy but still gentle on my scalp. It glides through my hair easily and helps smooth it out

Durable!
Love this. It is metal brush tips and gets through my tangly hair. The plastic types of these always break. This is strong and feels nice to brush.

At least it has true wire bristles
I have ordered (and keep ordering) these brushes for a long time. There's a lot of long, thick hair in my family, and these brushes are some of the only ones that are up to the task. The wire bristles are the key to how well these brushes work. But they aren't perfect. The handles break off way too easily - the last two I've had went in the trash way before their time because the handles came off after a fall of less than counter height to the floor. And the bristles pull out eaier than I would expect as well. I'm not rough enough to pull the bristles out of mine, but there are some members of the family who go after their tangles pretty aggressively, and they pull the bristles out regularly enough to go through about 4 of these a year. Like I said, I keep buying them because they're much better than other brushes, but not because they hold up.
