This heat cap is well made, and fits my huge noggin just fine. I can even put a thin turban towel over the processing cap and put the heat cap on top of everything. Just chill and watch TV for an hour while my hair steams. I have thick, coarse color-treated Scottish hair. Think: Witchy-poo. My conditioning recipe is wash hair, apply a thick hair mask (like Shea Moisture's), then plastic cap, hair wrap, heat cap. Bake for 30 mins - 1 hour.It seems like the heat comes on strong at first, then cuts off. I turn it on and off, which seems to reset the heat. I don't really mind doing this, but it's not ideal. Gotta admit that, after an hour, my hair is literally steaming after I take the processing cap off. I like this style of cap much more than the bonnet type that blows hot air (I had the Laila Ali model that worked like a trouper). Doesn't overheat your surroundings as much, and focuses the heat only to your head.I've lived without a heat cap for a year, and my hair reflects this! It's going to take 4-5 sessions to see real results, so I'm trying to be patient. I don't regret buying this cap, but wish the heat was more reliable and that I didn't have to keep rebooting the heat cap to keep the heat going. But because of the SIZE alone, I would probably buy this one again. My head is 24" around and this thing is roomy! Hallelujah from big-headed thankful types.

Easy to use, marks time and temperature. great quality

It is confusing to use and hard to set the timer and temperature. Also hard to tighten the the heating cap to fit the entire head snugly. So much so I started to look for NIB ( new in box) vintage heating caps that I know work much better.The price on this one was right through and I loved the color so I continued to just mess around with it until I could get it to work. The cord is not very long though so you may need an extension cord to use it comfortably.

I love the product and use it only once or twice a week! Place whatever treatment or hair care after a shower and place the shower cap before the heated cap and BOOM! Click the button and just sit back & relax! Let the cap do the rest. My hair has grown so fast and has help reduce hair loss in my experience using it.

Product seems to be well made and worked evenly however, it had this current noise that bother me because I was afraid it could short while I was wearing it. I contacted the seller and they told me it is normal to hear the current noise but still I didn't feel comfortable so I returned it.

Yes ladies it heats the whole head of hairs, perimeter and everything It is top quality . stays constant in the temperature set , Also has a timer setting. Cord is somewhat short however, extension cord needed in living room. Quietly deep treat your hair from now on.

It's beautiful and well-thought design. But it's major flaw is the noise of the current, which is pretty unpleasant. I returned one cap because of the noise and bought the second one. But it also has it. It's manufacture's defect. I guess I will return the second one too as it's kind of annoying to hear.
