EISCO Labs Reagent Bottle, Soda Glass, Wide Neck with Stopper, 1000 mL

I have bought this style bottle in probably every size available. I use them to display collections. They are not Pyrex, and therefore cost 1/6th as much if not even less. They look great, the lids fit well. I love them. This latest one arrived crunchy with fragile stickers all over it and what looked like bear claw marks all over one crushed end. They're sending a new one after just a picture and a video of broken glass. Excellent product & fantastic service!

I use it as a drinking water caraffe, and am very happy with it. Is the stopper absolutely leak-proof? No, a few drops will come out if you tip the bottle over onto its side. (It's the kind with a hollow stopper that fits good enough.) The ground glass bottles with solid stoppers and a totally perfect seal are in a "whole nother" price range. It gets only 3 stars because at $25 you're over-paying a little. Nevertheless, for what I wanted it for, it works great and the quality isn't bad.

The packaging was wonderful but the stopper does not have a seal. It’s just glass on glass. I bought this to use with liquids so this does not work for me. The bottle is pretty so will keep and see if can find a rubber seal to slide on it. The glass is slightly “milky.”

Returned as pretty useless. The tops didn't come close to a friction fit with the jars, which I'd thought was sort of the definition off a reagent bottle.
