Great Overall 6.5AL Mouthpiece! Very festive and comfortable.
This is my second Kelly Mouthpiece, having used a Large Bore 5G equivalent for the latter (and colder) parts of college marching band years ago. The 6.5AL version is just as great. I ordered this for an outdoor trombone Christmas that ended up being warm enough to use my normal MP, but I got to blow a few notes practicing.Overall, I would recommend these mouthpieces for any of these use cases:1) Cold Weather- Takes 0 second to warm up, because plastic. It's a no brainer.2) Marching Band/Parades- Think you might beat up or drop your mouthpiece? This is your solution. I've done this a million times, and my older one has cracks, but still plays perfectly.3) Metal Allergies- Plastic/Lexan rims aren't new. If you are chapped, have allergies, or just don't like the feel of metal plating, this provides relief. It doesn't project quite as well but sounds just fine for normal usage.4) Trying a new size- 6.5AL and 5G are very standard Trombone mouthpiece sizes. If you are coming from anything else, and want to get a feel for either, buy a Kelly! I think both models are more comfortable (to me, totally subjective) than their Bach equivalents, and cost a fraction.5) Holidays/Athletic Bands- You can get any color to match your school or the occasion, plus the benefits of not having to get it beat up mentioned in #2. For $35 bucks, you can get 3 different ones for the price of a regular mouthpiece.Just buy one folks. There is really no competition in the plastic mouthpiece segment. I didn't even need the one I bought, but it was too cheap to warrant driving 2 minutes to Whole Foods to return.

Cold Weather Perfection
My son plays a Marching Baritone for school and they have multiple parades this winter season. The two parades he has used this mouthpiece has saved his lips. Perfect for winter outdoor playing.

Weird plastic
Ordered two separate mouthpieces to see if I could get one that wasn't scuffed but they both had weird marks on them and I'm not happy with the material at all

Works well enough for middle school band!
Works well for my son as a backup mouthpiece; band teacher also mentioned that some kids might be sensitive to metals in other mouthpieces so that is a great use for these too.

Trombone Mouthpiece Is Great!
Was a great choice. So much lighter than my original mouthpiece and can travel with me so I can buzz often and get my lip back in shape to play each week in church. Made my horn much lighter and changed the balance on it and how I hold it. Thanks for getting it to me so quickly. I got to use it in church immediately!

Great purchase. Used for a 5th grade baritone player ...
Great purchase. Used for a 5th grade baritone player that gets a rash from standard mouthpiece. No problems with rash or tone.
