This is the third such device I have tried, and the first that has worked. As a result I have learned that you have to be very clear about which way you need the conversion to work. In my case I wanted DIGITAL to ANALOGUE. Most of these devices seem to be analogue to digital, so you have to read the description carefully. Now I have the right one it is well made, easy to set up, works well and is good vfm. It even has a volume control so you can match it to your amplifier’s input.

I had no problem installing this to a very complicated hifi set-up a customer had. Connection was straightforward, perfect functionality, great build quality and value for money. I'd definitely buy again.

Great little product, works well.Used on my Samsung smart TV to my old Kenwood surround sound amplifier which does not have a digital input.Dolby embedded surround sound still works perfectly.Great value.

To improve sound quality of wall fixed TV, as usual TVs have small speakers and amps.I wanted a better, clearer, sound, perhaps I'm going deaf but don't want to admit it.Anyway old 15 yr old tv sounds much better now.

Dont work. Tried using it for my RX3 controller to my JBL sound bar. No sound at all...

Worked perfectly in connected a Old soundbox to a new optical TV

I use this to take the digital optical out from my TV and convert it into analogue into my amp. When the TV is on it works fine, but when the input is off it does have a fairly quiet whine / static hiss, this is enough that it means my amp things it's still getting a signal and doesn't turn off automatically.
