I purchased this for one side of our small rectangular dining table because it provided storage for my aprons and table runners. Putting together was a breeze. I just had to study the directions for a few minutes and I had it assembled in about half an hour. Unsure about reviews that said it was not sturdy, ours is very sturdy. After assembling both I (175) and my son (120 ) sat on it at the same time to test it out and there was no creaking or wobbling. It held both of us just fine.

Not a 5 start because it was Difficult to put together. I finally figured it out with no help from the instructions and I still question if I did it correctly, like some of the wood doesnt flush well with the other pieces. There was suppose to be metal hardware on the lid, I didn't even install that because I couldn't figure out where it was suppose to attach. Once the piece was put together its cute. Seems to be holding up well, doesnt feel unsteady or anything like that. Fits perfectly in the space I have. But if you REALLY struggle to put these things together, plan to have help that day

I bought this not so much as a shoe caddy, but extra seating in my living room. It sits beautifully in front of my window and, not surprisingly, my cats love it too.

This is nothing but more Chinese garbage trying to masquerade as quality furniture. I took the pieces out of the box and started to assemble the bench. It immediately became clear that this is made from cheap thin press wood, the kind that looks like saw dust and glue. Not only is it cheap materials but the quality control is non-existent. The dowels fit so loose they fell out of the piece when trying to assemble the unit. The components are flimsy and do not appear to be able to support an adult. The entire unit went back in the box and was returned for refund. What an absolute waste of my time and energy. If I could give this zero stars I would.

Love this little bench! Thought the fabric on the bench was beige, but it was a nice medium gray. In my case, this was a pleasant surprise, but wanted to make sure others were aware. Easy to put together and everything else was exactly as pictured. Arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. The fabric part comes connected to the seat part, so it's not a separate loose cushion. Same exact bench was available on Wayfair under a different name, but I did a Google image search and found it cheaper here.
