Worked awesome
The media could not be loaded. For my first checkering file for adding jimping on my blades I have to say I couldn't have chosen a better file for the job, it makes putting in the jimping onto the spine of my blades almost too easy, as long as it’s done before I do my heat treat quenching, because then the steel would be way too hard, but so far it’s done an exceptional job and I plan on using it a lot more in the future

Great file
Bought this file for jimping for knife making. Works fantastic cuts through the steel easy. Makes perfect jimping!

Excellent for knife making
I use this for thumb jimping on my handmade knives. It's great, I'd buy it again and again but don't think I'll have to. I put a medium wood handle on it and it feels perfect. Previously I'd used my bandsaw to do jimping but it was never perfect, this checkering file makes clean parallel lines every time. The only downside is once it bottoms out it will leave a tiny parallel scratch on either side of the grooves. Nothing some hand sanding can't remedy though.

Good file.
Works well, cuts depth is shallower than I expected.

Knife Jimping perfection
We use this in our shop to put 'jimping' on the spine of the knives we make. Works well for that purpose. Would buy again.

Works Flawlessly
Cuts very quickly into unhardened 01 tool steel. Great little file to have in the shop.Edited 2/3/18: After using this file twice, i noticed that a tooth has broken off of the edge of the file. Still works but it's something to consider.

Great quality file!
The file is awesome. I wish it was wider but it is a nice nice file. It gives you lines per inch but isn’t an inch wide so it is a little confusing. A 1” file would be great. It makes clean symmetrical and aesthetic lines easily in wood and steel.
