I bought a cheep racket from the thrift store (it was a Head Hot Shot 3 for $4.99), and It needed a new grip desperately. I got this because it was cheep, and man do I love it. This racket is mostly going to sit in my gym locker, but whatever. The only downside is there is not instructions on how to wrap it for a new user (me). I like it enough that I did buy a second one yo wrap another racket that I got with.

This replacement grip suits my needs. It has good cushioning, my main requirement, and good tackiness even on hot days. It lasts me about 6-8 months of playing 2-4 times a week. After that time, I've worn a hole in it down to the handle and must replace it.

This grip is what came on my racquet and it finally wore out. I had done a wrap with a non-padded wrap but immediately bought this grip because the cushioning does make a difference.

Cushy and comfortable but the only thing I did not like was that installation is not very forgiven. I managed to get 98 % on correctly but fell short just enough to show . I’m sure many people would have the same results . Would be nice if the grip was a tad bit longer to make it more forgivable during installation . Maybe if the plastic tape were wider it would cover the grip shortage at the top of the handle and make the results more professional. Otherwise you would have to start all over numerous times and therefore weaken the adhesion to the racket .Would give it 5 stars if grip were longer to make installation much easier.

Perfect combination of tackiness and cushioning from hard shots combined with the ability to still feel the octagon points of the handle ! I hope they keep making this one like this.
