I live in a place with a lot of diabetic neighbors, and each of them have their issues with it in one form or another. I got these to carry with me so when I see one of them having an episode with their sugar dropping, which happens more often than I'd like, I can help them out. And these seem to work excellent. The flavor seems to be accurate to what it says it is and the consistency is very easy to consume. I think if you or a loved one has low blood sugar or any issue that involves blood sugar dropping below recommended levels these are a no-brainer to keep on-hand.

These gel packs taste okay. They work in a pinch for some simple glucose. Not sure about the flavor I got though. It's probably a personal preference on strawberry banana.The packaging is a little crinkly than anticipated and I'm not sure I was able to fully empty it, but it worked fine

The sweetness level is mild rather than strong.Orange vanilla dream: It tastes like drinking a syrup version of an orange cream popsicle.Strawberry lemonade lift: It tastes like drinking a syrup version of strawberry lemonade, tart and with the strawberry part being a little on the light side.It was easy to tear them open, and easy to suck out of the pouch with my mouth on the open spot. I only needed to use my fingers to squeeze the last bit out at the very end.The amounts are exactly accurate - I weighed one of each flavor on a food scale before (34g) and after (3g).I like that the packets are flat, so they're easy to put in a pocket or a small backpack or wherever.I got them because as an autistic person, I sometimes run into the executive dysfunction issue of "I'm hungry, I should to get something to eat ...time passes... I'm hungry, I need to get something to eat ...time passes... I'm lightheaded and somewhat nauseated, why am I not getting something to eat?". So this is something I can keep within reach, to grab and use quickly, when I get too out of it to be able to decide what to have - it should bring me back up to okay-enough-to-think.

We ordered the 20 combo pack of glucose gel packets which comes in 2 flavors, strawberry lemonade and orange vanilla dream. The ingredients and nutritional values are the same in both flavors. They both provide 15 grams of glucose with 60 calories, and the ingredients are: Dextrose, Water, Natural Flavor, Cellulose Gum, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate.For those with hypoglycemia or simply in need of raising blood due to physical activity or missing a meal, these packets can be helpful to have on hand. Personally, I’ve added them to our first aid kits and keep some at the bottom of my backpack when camping and hiking.As for taste, my kids say these remind them of melted ice pops, which with I agree. I like that they don’t taste too sweet and the 15g is the right amount needed to raise blood sugar if you’re below 70g.The gel inside is clear and consistency isn’t too thick so it slides right down quickly. Overall happy with this product. My only negative is the price of $50 for 20 packets. $2.50 per is a bit steep and these aren’t eligible for subscribe & save, which would be a helpful way to save on cost especially if you’re in need of ordering these regularly.Thank you for reading and I hope you find this review and the pictures helpful in making a purchasing decision.

Does a good job as accurately described at 15g per glucose gel packets. The gel packs are very sturdy and durable to keep in my bag or back pocket and I have not had to worry about it bursting and making a gooey mess. I keep my stash in the fridge as a personal preference to keep them cool as easier for me to ingest when I feel the need for them. The strawberry lemonade flavor and it tastes good with a tangy aftertaste. The orange vanilla cream tastes like sweeter than orange as the way I would describe it. It's a bit pricey for a 20 pack of the stuff but can be worth it to keep on hand for back up or temporary emergency with a good shelf life with the date good to last for 2 years from now.
