Why Put Up With a Lid That Does Not Stay Up? These were easy to install!

You don't really appreciate something until you don't have it any more. The lid on US General Mechanics Tool Box Cart (from Harbor Freight) stopped staying open when the lid was lifted. I tried to find replacement struts from Harbor Freight but was unsuccessful. I eventually found these on Amazon and they arrived the next day. Very easy to install and I was amazed how well the lid opened and stayed open on its own. Why had I put up with this for so long?

So strong, I only needed one to fix my tool chest lid. Perfect size for my US General using original clips instead of the ones that came with these. A bit of a pain to change out the clips but worth the extra effort.
