Works Great!
This product works great for me with my Surface Pro 8. It has stopped working a couple times, but restarting my computer seems to do the trick and it works great again.

Make sure your computer is compatible, and the magnetic plug is oriented Correctly. Works great!!
Works great. No fuss. Make sure your computer is compatible and NOTE the magnetic plug must be inserted into the surface in the correct orientation, with the cable towards the front of the computer. I have two 36" monitors plugged into the HD ports and also a mouse, keyboard and two external drives plugged into a USB hub plugged into the dock. Everything works correctly. I still have 3 USB 3/C ports left on the dock and two on the laptop, not counting those on the hub. The dock is compact but feels solid.

its a yugo at the price of a cadillac
product does not work. usb port does not work for bluetooth keyboard/mouse had to plug to monitor. monitor usbc does not work, had to manually plug to my monitor. power supply is all its good for, but it is bent at about a 20 degree angle causing connection issues, and I did not notice the 14v power is super cheap. read carefully. my pc is 102v. my phone charger works better than this thing, and is super tiny in comparison. This created more problems than it solved. might be worth 30 bucks. Box got tossed, so unless company finds a way to allow a refund my error in carefully inspecting this is my $150 problem now.

Must-Have Connector for Microsoft Surface Pro 8
Tablet (microsoft surface pro 8) keyboard quit working. This is exactly what we were looking for to be able to connect to the tablet so we could continue to work. Highly recommended because of the multiple connectors (HDMI, USB-C, USB-2, USB-3).

Product stopped working just a few months in (updated!)
The dock stopped working after just a few months of ownership. I have tested it thoroughly and my HDMI monitor will only work if I am putting pressure on the dock at a slight angle. The second I let go, the dock is no longer connected even though the light is green for the USB drive that is plugged in. It is, however, not detecting the USB drive. This is on Surface Pro 8 -- worked fine the first few weeks I had it, then I haven't had a use for it until recently and now it no longer works. Edit: The manufacturer reached out to us and despite it being such a long period of time, they did send us a replacement. So far it works great, so the review has been updated to 4*. If it continues to work well, we will edit again. But we do want to say the manufacturer does a very good job supporting its products and customers.

Works fine
Fits perfectly, looks pretty neat actually it’s light in weight. So far I’ve only use the hdmi type c and the usb port and it’s working well. Did a PowerPoint presentation with the type c sound photos video clips it worked seamlessly. It’s easy to use, just plug and go just hoping it stays the same.

HDMI yes, DisplayPort no...
My situation is a bit unique, I use a Samsung 49" monitor and for some reason HDMI ports can't figure out how to make the resolution work. The only solution I could find online was to use the DisplayPort instead, the way it works is to use the display port adapter on the monitor and connect to the USB-C port on the laptop. I have a Surface Laptop 4, which for some reason only has three input/output jacks 1-USB, 1-USB C, and the Microsoft proprietary magnetic surface dock. Not very well thought out for a work pc, I have SEVERAL external devices I need to connect (external monitor, upgraded camera, Plantronics headphone, speakers, external drive, keyboard/mouse, etc.), so needless to say I needed something that could expand the inputs to accommodate all of my devices. I was SOOO excited when it came, the box was perfect with multiple inputs and for a minute it looked like EVERYTHING would connect through the proprietary magnetic surface dock. NOPE. Because the DisplayPort comes in to the box on a USB-C cable, it competes with more traditional USB-C & USB devices (mouse/keyboard, camera, headset) and effectively none of them work. When I disconnected the devices the video worked, when I disconnected the monitor the devices worked, but not together. I was able to get the video to (sort of) work by plugging it into the HDMI port, but the resolution issue resurfaced again. My solution was to run all traditional devices through the docking station, and use the (now unused) USB-C port on my laptop for the monitor connection. It's not PERFECT, but I am able to connect all of my devices and the monitor works. To be fair, and why I'm only downgrading 1 star because of this issue, if you use the traditional HDMI port for your monitor, you likely will not experience the issue I did. Ok, the 2nd star...the magnetic dock is BARELY magnetic. At least once a day I accidentally disconnect it with the slightest nudge to the PC, and BTW the cable ONLY fits one way so the excess cable has to be in the workspace. Also, it's not like Apple's magnetic adapter where it snaps back into place when you get it close to the port, you have to align in perfectly. Not ideal during a conference call...

Probably needed to elongate the USB-C connectors to make it case friendly
I like that it was fully functional upon plugging in, my only nitpick is probably that it's not case friendly. I had to chop off a good portion of my case just to be able to fit it while my Surface pro 9 is in the case. Otherwise, it gives functionality this device really needs, considering it only had two usb-c ports.
