P25 works with WPSD image flashed to this hotspot.
I bought this hotspot to attempt to get P25 working with my Motorola XTS 3000 Model 3 radio. I could not get it to work with the pi-star image on the sd card. I had to flash a WPSD image on the sd card and then was able to get it to operate with the P25 radio by using the WPSD MMDVM calibrating tool to adjust the offset to a needed value. That calibration might not be needed with all P25 radios. Also make sure the hotspot firewall is active in the WPSD system settings. Also the small wi-fi dongle can be replaced with other wi-fi dongles and setups with extended cables for better reception.

Instructions in Broken English, Very Slow to Ask for DHCP Assignment on Wired
Update: I returned the device that was not working. Upon receipt of the new hotspot it had issues as well. The dashboard and admin pages would not fully display. I contacted the support team and to their credit, they responded quickly and worked with me until the issue was resolved. I had to load a new version of the software that they sent to me. The device now works as expected. I am changing my rating from a 2 to a 4.If I had not had a pi-star previously I don't think I could have set this up. First, the instructions are in very broken English and most likely were translated by someone for whom English is not their first language. Second the pi takes forever to ask for a DHCP assignment on the wired side. It took about 45 minutes before it got a connection and was usable. I have several other pi's and do not have this issue. Next while performing the setup, my settings would not stick after saving them. I would make the changes and go back and find they reverted back to the default settings. After several reboots it finally saved my changes. After that, all was good. That was until I turned the device off (from its software) in order to place it where I wanted it. I am now going on an hour waiting for it to ask and get a DHCP lease. (And yes, I have used several different cables and it is plugged directly into the router). I had none of these issues with my previous pistar.

Simple setup and documentation!
Setup instructions were well written and hotspot working with my Anytone 878 in 10 minutes connected to my ethernet. Also comes with WiFi dongle to setup on wireless network. Would recommend this hotspot for anyone who wants to get up and working on Dmr or any other digital network.
