Strikingly beautiful.
Excellent product with great construction. Very easy to install. Thick and works well in sound proofing. I really like the included screw and nicely well thought out knobs. Provides a quality professional installation. Amazingly packaged. Be sure and follow instructions and it makes a great addition to a recording studio where some cool art work is desired.

Thin foam inside canvas-like material
In order to absorb sound one must apply mass loading to the area in which they're trying to reduce noise or absorb sound transference, preferably with a combination of materials such as rubber, high density foam of 3 inches or more, and drywall gypsum. This blanket is actually referred to as a "sheet" on its label other than a blanket probably because of how thin the foam material inside actually is, which at the most is 1 inch thick. You would be better off creating your own blanket with a woven tapestry and thick upholstery foam then relying on this thin blanket, which will not reduce or absorb sound efficiently. Mathematically it's just impossible.

Nice thick but wrinkly
Definitely needs some steaming to get the wrinkles out. Otherwise seems nice and thick. Sadly dosen't cover my whole window toward the neighbors but I placed it more toward their house. Hopefully they are happier.Cool graphics!!

Light blocker sound dampening blanket
When I ordered this “sound absorption blanket” I read “curtain” more than blanket. I glossed over the specification of 20 mm which refers to the thickness of the product. Since it comes in a vacuum pack and expands when released that foam layer sandwiched between two fabric layers is obvious. It is definitely more blanket than curtain due to weight and thickness, and the pictures accompanying this product do show these characteristics. In my application, I was hoping to hang it like a curtain replacing some room darkening curtain panels. There are upper grommets in the blanket with ½ inch (1.3 cm) holes; I have ½ inch diameter curtain rods, but I do not think the blanket is designed to be (optimally) hung this way – it can be hung on a curtain rod, but the overall stiffness of the blanket means that it does not fold and sit like a curtain when open. If you are thinking about hanging on a rod, it should be an application where you do not plan on moving the blanket / curtain regularly. For proper installation, the CHOOVEEON Sound Absorption Blanket does come with some stout sleeve screws for installation in plaster and gypsum panels (or with wood you can skip the sleeves), along with handy twist type screws allowing ease of mounting. This keeps the panel mostly flat against a wall, much like installed and dedicated sound absorption materials might sit. The difference (and advantage) to this type of blanket installation is that it can removed easily. In actual use, I tacked it up behind a desktop audio production area. Any dampening effect is difficult to discern since my room is carpeted and also has additional curtains and sound dampening panels on other walls. In a small bedroom, with a rambunctious rocker banging away? It might help, but I think you would need to cover multiple walls and/or windows. Used over a window it is a light block panel due to thickness and construction. As for appearance and construction? No loose threads and two different type fabrics. One side is the printed panel, the other a black fabric which feels a bit more stout than the printed side. The forest print is OK from a viewing distance. Being “reversible”, you can hang it with the black side showing if you do not care for the print. As indicated above, it is best to consider what your application might be for this sound dampening panel. You may want to purchase more than one for the padded room containing your head banging teen rocker! Still, overall, given what it is, I will give it 5/5.
