If you're looking to make your own nail polishes, this is it. This is what you want for a suspension base. The base is slightly cloudy but will dry much clearer - I have used it as a medium for suspending glitter alone and it has not discolored the base coat under the coat with glitter. I make a number of nail polishes for friends & family and it just works. Before adding glitter make sure that it is resistant to solvents, otherwise the color will strip from the glitter over about a half hour and ruin the nail polish.

This product is great! The smell is not too strong. I have used it to make nail polish. My nail polishes have come out great. Will be buying this product again!

Product is a very cloudy grey/white color and does a poor job of suspending anything inside of it when mixed to keep in suspension and the coloring makes the final appearance of the overall mix very difficult to make out due to the cloudiness of the fluid.

...But it just isn't it. Especially didn't find it to be a good suspension base for pigments. It's cloudy and too thick. Shine when dry is meh. It also peels right away. The slightest hand washing and it was lifting. A good polish base should work as a topcoat sealer too. If you're looking for something to mix with powder pigments to make your own polish, or even just something to use as a sealing coat, don't buy this.
