Good little unit to control the devil eyes in my headlights remotely, has survived the weather and heat under the bonnet too so all good !

Great product, good for switching mains appliances remotely.

The media could not be loaded. A nice simple kit that doesn't try to do anything overly complicated.When powered from 12V DC it flips a relay which says it is contact rated for up to 250V AC so it could be used to switch pretty much whatever, I just tested mine with a motor.It comes with two single button remotes and out of the box is programmed for momentary operation although like many of this type of gadget, different button press combinations can learn different modes if on/off toggle operation is preferred (instructions are included).

One of the remotes has stopped working. Good job I bought two. The range is good at 40 metres. But I haven’t tried it to see how far its limit is.

I lost the remote for my very old automatic garage door, and finding a replacement was impossible, so I decided to try this instead. It was really easy to install and set up, and it worked perfectly the first time. I used it to replace the physical trigger switch on the side of the unit, and now everything works just like it used to.The range is solid, and it feels well-made. If you’ve got an older system and need a replacement remote, this is a great option that’s simple and effective. Very happy with it!

You get 2 identical units with their paired remotes. The case or plastic shell is quite robust and protects the electronics quite well with the lid that snaps shut with the help if a plastic clasp.It's not waterproof, so for use indoors only. A quick test at around 40 meters away and it worked very well that too with the unit indoors with a wall in between.You will need a stable 12v power supply to operate this unit which requires minimal current, whilst the relay can be wired to power external voltage switching such as powering automatic shutters etc.Re-programming is quite simple, but I've not had the need to do this as I need either on or off, which is set by default, but by pressing the programming button on the board and then following the steps on the provided instructions, you can easily set this to how you prefer.It comes with instructions folded in the box, and suggest keeping in back in the box once wired up as it's quite important to revert back to it should you need to alter the settings ever.

This is a really useful gadget that has a number of operating modes. I particularly like the key fobs; they have a satisfying amount of weight, the buttons have a very positive click action and the shell of the fob is held together with screws rather than a nasty press fit.The key fob buttons are actually marked ‘ON’ and ‘OFF’ rather than ‘A’ and ‘B’ which is much more useful. I opened one up to what batteries they require, and they each need two CR2016 cells.The receiver is small, measuring about 40mm square by 25mm thick. There is one fixing lug so that it may be screwed down to a support. The plastic cover isn’t water resistant so should be protected from the weather. Construction is nice and clean, and the solder joints look good.Range is very good at this operating frequency and there shouldn’t be much interference around, unlike the crowded 2.4GHz band that some devices use.I’m very pleased with this device and it represents good value for money.
