Can’t wait to use it on my cruisr

I take a lot of trips and wanted a small, compact power strip to take along. This cube shaped device fits the bill. It is small, and easily fits in your luggage or tote bag. It has two usb ports and three outlets. That’s all most people need. It works well, seems well made. Very convenient to travel with ir use it at home. Plugs in the wall and does nit take up a lot of room. Recommended.

We enjoy cruising. And sometimes that means we cruise on a ship built perhaps 20+ years ago when the typical cruiser didn't have a suitcase full of devices craving power. Our last several cruises have been on ships with only two 110 volt outlets. So we found ourselves plugging in one item, then having to switch to another, sometimes having to ask "is it okay for me to unplug your device so I can plug in mine?" With this a/c outlets multiple instantly from one to three - of course we know not to plug multiple high draw items together (think a curling iron and a hair dryer) as doing so would undoubtedly overload that circuit. But for items like computers and such, we can now happily power/charge them together while still having access to USB outlets for things like Bluetooth speakers, etc. And since this does not offer power surge protection we can use it on the ships. Because of the way ship electricity is distributed and grounded surge protectors can create fire hazards. So years ago just about all cruise lines started banning them. This will go into our travel kit for use both on land and at sea!

This outlet extender is compact and functional and will take up very little space in a suitcase or carry on. I like that it has 3 regular outlets as well as 2 USB charging ports. The USB ports kick out 12 watts total. If you use only one port then you get 12 watts and if you use both at the same time you get a total of 12 watts. This may be off putting for some who want to charge multiple devices and have them charge as fast as it can. Another thing I like about this outlet extender is that it reduces the need to carry a charging block for each device and can prevent "juice-jacking" if someone doesn't have their power brick and needs to charge their phone in the airport or hotel. This little outlet extender will travel with me.

Two outlets are never enough. But who wants a monstrously large eyesore on the wall when all you really needed were a couple of outlets more. The vast majority of outlet multipliers are overgrown and quite frankly eyesores. We just had a kitchen renovation and while we added another 2 outlets on the counter top we probably should have added 4. There has been an explosion of countertop electric appliances. Air fryer Ovens/Toaster Ovens, frothing machines, Ice Tea Makers, etc. So I wanted a way to expand the 2 outlets to 4 but to do it in an unobtrusive way. I like things to look natural, and most cube taps are thick and/or huge. All I wanted wan extra couple of outlets. I saw this on Amazon. It's thin, low profile and fits exactly my needs. Yes, IT's great for travel. I used it this past weekend for a trip to the shore, but now it takes it rightful place in my kitchen. I'm able to plug in 2 permanent items and still have 1 open outlet on the tap and one other open on the wall outlet. Perfect for the vacuum sealer and the blender.
