Really loved this one!.. just great, sexy, lovely, fun with lol thrown in!.. can’t wait to read the next one now 💜 and loved the extended epilogue so far in the future x

An okay storyline, Kelly and Xander’s story. Kelly was taking a 2 week break away from her music career and ex. She got a little cottage in a forest to rent so she would be all alone away from fans/paparazzi. Her brother Kevin who was going to be deployed asked a friend, Xander, a favour as she was refusing a bodyguard and he was worried, he had saved Xander’s life so Xander felt he owed him. Kelly refused to have him as her bodyguard and told him he wasn’t allowed inside, but he persevered with her until eventually they got on well, too well with too much “interaction” between them and not enough storyline, so ended up skipping pages. Not as good as her other books which I have read plenty and have been great. All drama was towards the end of the book!

I’m back in Cherry Tree Harbour and couldn’t be happier about it!Add in a one bed, forced proximity, bodyguard/celebrity scenario and I am a goner for this book 🫠Kelly, or country singing sensation Pixie Hart (queue me just realising how clever this book title is 🤯) is feeling pretty disheartened with the direction she feels her career is being pushed. She wants to just escape from it all so books a cabin in the woods in Michigan miles away from her life in Nashville.Her solitude is quickly disturbed when Xander, as a favour to her brother, shows up to act as her bodyguard. They both try to out stubborn each other with Kelly trying to get rid of Xander and Xander refusing to back out of his promise to her brother. Once the pair decide to peacefully coexist the sparks soar (they were flying the second they met but they just went 📈)I loved the way they both supported each others plans and dreams for the future while being completely delusional that they were going to be going their separate ways once the two weeks are over.I know I’ve said many, many time that I am packing my bags and moving to the fictional town that I’ve just finished reading about but Cherry Tree Harbour really feels like a alternate universe version of where I live. I think that’s why it gives me such a big batch of the warm and fuzzies 🥹

Very Good read and I enjoyed it but the first book was better. More intense. I didn’t like the FMC that much.

dnf it was way to long for no reason. like i got bored but what i read was good it wasn’t really any plot like she was some celebrity and she had to have a body guard and then they had to stay in some cabin and then they were at like rabbits

RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️SPICE: 🔥🔥🔥🔥This was perfection. There really isn’t any other way to adequately describe just how great the writing, how sweet the story, and how hot the spice. This book filled me with so many feelings, I legitimately squealed out loud and thought my heart was going to spontaneously combust.Melanie Harlow is a small town romance goddess! I’ve read several of her books, and she knows how to give the readers something that‘s inherently comforting but still always surprising. And I think this one might just be my favorite!Kelly Jo Sullivan just wants a break from her country stardom life as Pixie Heart for a couple weeks, so she rents a secluded cabin in the woods. Unfortunately for Kelly, everyone wants a piece of her, and so her brother hires a body guard to protect her, one she won’t be able to shake. Xander is a former navy seal and a man of honor, so when a buddy who saved his life asks for a favor, Xander says yes. Too bad the last thing Kelly wants on her vacation is company.If I tried to name all the parts about this book that I loved, I would basically have to highlight from cover to cover. The push and pull between Kelly and Xander is some of my favorite banter I’ve read in a while, their attraction is instantaneous, and the tension sky high. I love the spice, the way they open up to each other, and the way they challenge each other in the healthiest ways.But what makes this book special is the notion of trust. Xander may be overbearing and protective, but he gives Kelly what she needs at every turn. He tells her she can trust him, and then every action backs that up. It’s beautiful to watch because it just makes their connection so much deeper. Xander also makes Kelly trust in herself and her own power, and some of the scenes between them left me speechless with my heart fluttering in my chest. And then he trusts her in return, surrendering himself and his fears to her like he knows she will keep him safe too.I cried. My heart didn’t know what to do with the emotion and it came out as tears, because I loved this so much and felt so much!And the spice! The spice. This book was dirty and sweet at the same time, and that delicious filth was top notch and scorching hot! So so good, and there was one scene that had me full out sweating! You will know which one when you read!Overall I don’t have a single negative thing to say except I’m sad it’s over and I’m pretty sure I’m ruined for all eternity because of this! If you love small town romance, rockstar vibes and a kick ass MMC with a sassy firecracker FMC, Drop everything else and read this!Highly Recommend to ♾️!

It is a very lovely, charming and funny book.The characters are very well constructed and their chimistry is amazing.

Literally amazing!! Kinda liked it better than Runaway Love ( the 1st part ) but both are awesome. Really loved the chemistry between Kelly and Xander.

This amazing author did it again. I absolutely loved every single second spent reading this book. I loved the characters, the tropes, the storyline, it was all just coming together perfectly! This book was an amazing read, I finished it within a couple of hours and I can't wait for more in this series!
