My wife got me this. We got this product delivered today.Adjusted it to it's largest, and it's far too small. I'm 5'8" and 200lbs. Chest size 42.The lights didn't seem overly bright either, but I didn't take time to charge it once I realized it wouldn't fit me.

This is essentially a chest harness with lights. The control/light box goes on your back and the straps buckle in the front. I’m a larger guy (2XL/3XL shirt size) and I had to move the straps to the largest setting. The strap doesn’t sit like it does in the picture, it more like “cups” your “chest” area. I had my wife try it on who is way smaller than me and it rests on her very similarly (in front the sides angle upwards towards your head vs the picture where the side straps are parallel to the ground). The lights are decently bright on the back and they sorta fade as they come around to the front. That’s because the light originates from a box on the back then travels via an optical cable (or whatever) as it wraps to the front of you. In the dark though, the lights are quite visible and you can control the color of the lights via an app. If you run at night, this will definitely help make you visible. My intent is to use this while riding motorcycle at night. If you intend to use it for motorcycling at night, check your local ordinances because most places only allow certain lights from the rear. Either way though, you can control the color of the lights from the app. I’m not out to impress others with flashy lights, I just want to make sure people see me at night! The strap compacts down into a very small package and comes with a USB cable for charging purposes.

This vest is super bright! I love that I can control it with an app on my phone and that it can be set to sync to my music! It seems to fit average sized men and women well and offers great visibility in the dark.

I walk at night sometimes so I wanted something to make it easier for cars to see me. I like the lights and the app on the vest and it does what it says it will. The problem is the fit. It hits my chest at a weird place and feels uncomfortable. I'll still use it for walking, but for something like running it is too tight and uncomfortable even on the biggest setting.

Pretty easy to put on. Pretty easy to set up. Not uncomfortable. Love the colors and the flash patterns. You can light yourself up like a police car lol. Pretty fun and makes going out a little safer. Decent quality and worth the price i think.

With the summer coming to an end, and the days getting shorter, I have started to think about safety when I go out for evening runs. I thought this vest would be perfect. While I do like this, and I believe it will suit my needs, at least for now, I do not love it.Despite the description calling this a "vest", I would think that "harness" is a more accurate term. The harness has two sliders for adjustment, but that is only for adjustment around the chest. There is nothing that allows you to adjust the shoulder straps. This can be a problem for persons with large or low-set breasts. The straps that fasten around the chest are *right* below my breasts, even giving them a little lift. If I was any larger, the strap would be across my breasts, not below it.Having the ability to change the colors on the harness/vest is kind of cool, but from what I can see, it can only be changed using the app with no control on the harness itself. You can turn it off and on from the harness, but the catch is that you need to make sure that the app has the device on. If it isn't switched on in the app, the manual switch is not going to work. It does not appear that you can do anything without the app.The static colors are okay. Some are better than others. In some cases, the colors do not extend all the way down the front of the harness. Colors like Red and Orange seem to be better at going all the way down the front than Blue. Colors that are supposed to be Yellow and Purple do not show up as Yellow and Purple. Yellow looks Orange and Purple looks Red. White looks like a mix of several colors. The preset cycles of colors are better at filling the entire harness, but still, the Purple, Yellow, and White are not displayed as such. The fade cycles are okay. The strobe cycles are annoying, as they cycle too fast. The app does not do anything to adjust the speed of the cycles. I asked my husband to look at it while I tried to adjust the speed at which the lights changed and even he said nothing was happening.I will use this until the things I have mentioned become too annoying the accept. An app update might fix some of the problems I am having with the speed adjustment. I'm not sure if the color displays can be fixed through the app and I will just have to learn to live without purple, but this did not live up to my expectations based on what I saw in the product listing.
