Effective
I bought this without having a clue of how to use it. After watching a tutorial on YouTube, I set to work arranging beads in the colors and amounts I wanted on each beader. It was actually fun to use, and also cut down on styling time as the beads on each beader is inserted in the hairbraid all at once, so you can place 3, 4, 5 or more beads on a beader and slip them on a hairbraid in a quick second. Brilliant!!!

Sturdy enough to pull a thicker strand
I use these to bead my hair. I have fine straight hair. One of the problems I've run into before is that the strands are either too thick to pull through the beads (because the puller breaks) or it's too thin and it slips out before going through. I could never find a happy medium. With these, though I have no trouble. I can use thick or thin strands and it works well. They're bigger than what I thought (lengthwise but it doesn't seem to matter. Some of my beads are the standard size and I still have no trouble pulling my hair through.

Helpful but flimsy
These are great! Glad I got them, it’s made putting beads in my little girl’s hair so much easier. They are a bit flimsy and will likely need to be replaced. That being said the price was fair.

Handy
I don’t think that these existed when I was kid. Probably would have made my mom’s job a lot easier. I love them for adding beads to my daughter’s hair. Makes the job go a lot faster.

Lol one broke but to be fair that one loc was pretty THICK so it’s on me😭. But thankfully I have 5 more so wish me luck.

Great alternative
Some may call me tender-headed but, I needed to substitute the mainstream crochet hook because that one hurt to use and, I found this Youtuber who suggested using a beader as an alternative. It works excellent for crocheting hair.
