Best Showerhead I've Found
I've had a few houses, and many shower heads. I like the convenience of handhelds. Years ago, I bought a couple of large Grohe's, similar to their current "Power and Soul" but I think they were bigger back then. After that, three Delta 58467 's. Eventually, I needed another shower head. So I tried something a bit different... I wanted a dual configuration similar to this AquaStar Elite. So I bought two brands of basically the same configuration, at the same time. Between the two, I felt that the AquaStar easily had the best workmanship—regardless of price (it wasn't the cheapest). I even weighed the two, and this one was indeed heftier, FWIW. It does take a bit of skill to install correctly. You just have to work with it. Also, the way the handheld portion attaches to the main head, is not convenient. Way too high. I bought a couple of "Vacuum Suction Cup Shower Head Holder with Swivel", and mounted one below and to the left of the main head, and another 9" below the first. That way you can have dual heads at the same level; or place the handheld head at the lower level—perfect for aiming at your back or whatnot. And from there, a small person can reach it easily. Makes it quite easy to remove and rehang the handheld at useful, ergonomic levels. I like the Microban. These things do harbor mold without it. I've seen it. I like the positive feel as you click through the spray patterns. The other brand felt less sure. If you don't want the main head to emit at all when it's turned off, just select the correct setting at the diverter valve behind the main head. You can completely isolate one or the other head. Just don't forget to re-set it for the next person (sorry, dear!). I think the water pressure is good enough to provide a luxurious shower. I pretty much use the rain pattern settings all the time, and turn off one or the other head if I need more pressure for rinsing hair, or cleaning hard to reach areas. It's really quite handy when you get the hang of it. After living with it for a while, I bought a spare to eventually replace the Delta In2ition shower head we still have in our 2nd bathroom. BTW, I've been happy the the Delta. Really handy and nice looking—at over twice the price. But as I said, the two heads on the AquaStar Elite provide a very nice feel. Especially if you install the two handheld holders (bought separately; see above). And, if you don't mind using more water, you can always remove the limiter. I should try that sometime :)

Great shower after instal but so much plastic
When I opened the package I was displeased with the amount of plastic this piece is made with. But then i installed it which was very simple, took a little less than 10 minutes. I then took one of the most amazing showers of my life. I stayed in the shower longer than I intended because it was so enjoyable. I wish I could find real metal shower heads with the same features as this, but I know everything is plastic now. The plastic is my reason for giving 4 and not 5 stars. I hope this plastic shower head lasts a long time. I have not told my family yet. They will be surprised when they wake up and take a shower.

Great Shower Head Combo
We have two shower heads in our shower, one single head and one combo unit. We purchased this to replace the existing shower head combo and it worked much better than expected. The spray options were easy to select as was switching from fixed to handheld units. The most surprising aspect was the considerable increase in water pressure coming from both parts of the combo unit compared to the old combo shower head. We liked it so much we bought the matching single shower head for the other side of the shower. Have enjoyed every minute using these shower heads and would definitely buy them again.

Ordered two shower heads one installed fine and works great
Ordered two shower heads one installed fine and works great. The other had internal ports blocked with casting material. Had to take it back off and clear port with a small screwdriver and then reinstall. Very frustrating and showed a lack of quality control. Working fine though.

Really delivers on the "high-pressure"
I had been disappointed with my previous showerhead, and specifically searched for "high-pressure" for the new one. I went with this one due to the reviews, and am happy to say that I have joined the crowd of satisfied purchasers. I don't care so much about the 48 modes claim, I just wanted a normal spray that had some real "push" to it. The AquaStar Elite made it seem like my water line pressure was more than it used to be. No, it didn't blow me into the wall, but the "mist" setting really surprised me as being rather aggressive. There's also the jet massage setting, which made me think of ritzy hotels, where there is a sprayer midway up, for blasting your back. On that subject, I found it more useful to attach the removable wand portion to a suction cup holder, partway down from the shower head. This allowed me to enjoy the diverter setting that activates both the shower head and the wand at the same time. Very nice. It is chrome-coated plastic, but has a heavier feel than you would expect, as if it were metal. I also have to mention the flex hose for the wand is the real deal, not the plastic hose that has a black coil printed on it. The hose on the AquaStar is metal, flexes quite easily, and stays slack so you don't have to fight with it. I haven't had it long enough to comment on the antimicrobial properties, or the self-cleaning aspect, but unlike cheaper shower heads, the individual streams stay aimed correctly at all times, no "renegade" streams shooting off to the side. I'll update this review if anything goes amiss, but it's been a few weeks, and I've truly enjoyed using it.
