The quantity, concentration, and dosing of the Umcka® Pelargonium sidoides 1x in this product is in alignment with the clinical studies including Matthys H et al. Phytomedicine. 2003; 10 Suppl 4: 7-17.

Q: Is it dairy? I see the first ingredient s lactose .... ?

I just checked the ingredients on my box of (cherry flavor) Umcka and did not see lactose listed ( unless it is under some disguised name!!). I am lactose intolarant and have used both flavors with no problems at all. I SWEAR by this product as I have had no colds this year and my partner has had 4. As soon as he or anyone shows signs of a cough or cold, I start using them. Maybe it is mind over matter but as long as it works, I will keep using this product.

Q: What is the current expiration date on this? I know many herbal supplements expire much faster.

All of the boxes I bought on Amazon had an expiration on the bottom of the boxes. It is a little hard to see since it is stamped (not printed). I checked the boxes purchased in December 2019 and their expiration date is 05/2021. I wife swears by this medicine. Hope this helps.
