ELEGOO Building Plate for Mars 3 LCD 3D Printer

The ball joint seems to have been damaged as when I go to level the bed, it catches on something and only releases when I untighten the bolts. It works though.

Love the bed, and had to buy one replacement which is what I’m reviewing now because I went too hard on tightening the two bolts which holds the bed in place when leveling. Doing it too tight will strip the screw holes.

I got this because my prints were having trouble with adhesion. I had unknowingly scratched my first print bed with the metal scraper that came with the Mars3 and then thought sanding it would make it better (it made it worse though in my case, nothing would stick to it). Getting a new print bed really helped with this.If you are reading this with the same situation, do yourself a favor and search and buy these two things:1. PLASTIC RAZOR BLADE SCRAPERIt will get prints off the bed without scratching it and it is 10$ and comes with approximately infinite replacement plastic blades.2. Rubber Squeegee Water Blade Decal Wrap ApplicatorThis is to mix up your resin when its sat in the vat for too long and also brush gently along the FEP to make sure there is no resin stuck to it and not mess up/puncture/scratch the FEP.

Precisely the same as initially shipped with my printer. This works well and should last a long time. Just don't drop it!

Good. The same plate that comes with the printer. Sandblasted surface is nice, and build quality is good. I’m happy
