This is a good monitor. The looks reflect and extend your apple macbook, or other mac computer. For those who want to pair it with a macbook pro or air they will find the glossy screen and image a perfect match. The 4K display is very good and the text is clear and sharp. Images and movies look great with accurate colours and deep blacks. I did play about with the profiles in Apple settings to get one that matched best. The stand is very solid and the unit is reassuringly heavy. The build quality is excelent. The dock is ok but can't be compared to the dock on the Dell usb dock monitors for example. There are less usb outputs than on some other dock monitors, however the two HDMI inputs would be useful. It has a light sensor which you can turn off or on and this works quite well at adjusting the brightness to the ambient light in the room. It's still expensive but if you don't want to connect more than two or three peripheral usb devices via the dock then I'd recommend it for mac users who don't want to fork out for the Apple display. I would have kept it and been perfectly happy were it not for the fact that the Dell offered more usb outputs and I decided I preferred a matt screen. The only other thing I didn't really like was the OSD buttons under the bezel. On the 27 inch model I found I had to hold the left side of the monitor while pushing the buttons to avoid tilting the monitor horizontally and it was a bit annoying, but once you've set them as you want you shouldn't need to access that menu.

I wanted to get a monitor as close as possible to the apple monitor without the price tag and that is what I got! Glossy display, 4k (not 5k but scaling is OK). Works easily with Mac and windows. Lots of screen adjustment available. Extremely well built. Much better priced that the apple monitor but a bit expensive compared to other similar monitors… but if you have particular requirements then you have to pay for it!

There is an issue with the speaker, it does not work properly. If you play a song or video, it kind of acts weirdly over buffering it, skipping and fast forwarding if I already have something buffered. Was not expecting this. Very unsatisfied. Would not recommend this to anyone

I had been looking for a monitor with a glossy finish that had a 2k or 4k resolution but that seemed impossible. Apart from some ultrawide models using a semi-gloss finish, the majority of monitors were matte. I found the 27" Alogic Clarity which had the 4k resolution and glossy finish I was looking for. The image quality is amazing and the glossy finish really tops it off. Highly recommend

I have tested two of these monitors, and they had uniformity issues — slight patchiness in the backlighting, and the longer the monitor stayed on, the brighter the center would become. Very obvious when sitting next to the Dell we purchased instead. I returned the defective monitors but was forced to pay for shipping ($363) and a 40% restocking fee ($367). I have been denied help from Amazon... hard lesson about purchasing from 3rd party sellers on this platform!

I bought this monitor for my wife to use with her 13" M1 MacBook Pro. I researched 27" monitors for a number of months and this one was always at the top of the list. It is one of the few 4K 27" monitors that has a glossy screen as most come with a matte screen. The deciding factor was the build quality of the monitor and that set it apart from the other monitors. So far everything has worked fine and my wife is enjoying having a large screen to look at instead of a laptop. The screen looks great even though she prefers setting it to a lower resolution of 1920 instead of the 4K. If you prefer a glossy screen and are looking for a solidly built monitor, then the Alogic Clarity should be one you consider.

Compré este monitor para usarlo como secundario junto a mi Apple Display, y ha superado mis expectativas. Estuve considerando la opción de adquirir un segundo Apple Display en lugar de este monitor, pero resultó ser una decisión innecesaria, ya que este monitor ofrece una calidad excelente y cumple con creces. Dado que no utilizo la webcam ni los altavoces del Apple Display (pues tengo una cámara externa y un sistema de audio independiente), incluso he pensado que hubiera sido más conveniente comprar dos de estos monitores, lo cual me habría significado ahorrar una cantidad significativa de dinero. Aunque el monitor no tiene el brillo, la resolución ni la calidad del panel del Apple Display, para mi uso principal —desarrollo de aplicaciones— lo más importante es la calidad de renderizado del texto y una buena reproducción de colores como característica complementaria. En ambos aspectos, este monitor se destaca: el texto se ve nítido y no me causa fatiga visual. Un dato importante es que funciona sin problemas con un cable Thunderbolt, el escalado de resolución es perfecto, y menciono esto porque no todos los monitores funcionan igual cuando los conectas a una Mac, algunos de ellos sólo permiten modo de alta definición con algunas resoluciones diferentes a la nativa. En cuanto a los aspectos negativos, el monitor no viene bien calibrado de fábrica, pero corregí esto fácilmente con un Spyder X Pro en unos 15 minutos. Dado que esta calibración solo necesita hacerse una vez, considero que este inconveniente es menor. El otro punto crítico es que la superficie del monitor es completamente “glossy”, lo que puede ser un problema si lo vas a usar en un entorno muy iluminado o si la iluminación del espacio en el que lo vas a colocar (tanto ventanas como lámparas o focos) queda en un ángulo visible al frente del monitor. En mi caso, dado que trabajo en un ambiente oscuro con las cortinas cerradas y las luces apagadas, la posible falta de brillo (dado que alcanza apenas 400 nits) y los problemas asociados con la superficie reflejante no son significativos. Sin embargo, es un aspecto que debe tenerse en cuenta. Le doy cinco estrellas porque estoy encantado con el monitor, en resumidas cuentas, y para mi caso de uso es perfecto.

The monitor is well built and looks great. The factory calibration is way off. I had to change the displays color profile in my settings to Display P3 to match that of my Mac. It has a weird brown color so some of my blue wallpapers looked purple. But other than that I’m pretty happy with it. Considering the price compared to the Studio Display.
