Easy to use for home and work!
The media could not be loaded. I like the easiness! It was easy both to put together and to use. I take it with me everywhere and when i double check temps with other tools it comes out pretty accurate! Grateful!!

So easy to use
It has simple instructions and is easy to use. I wish I had gotten it sooner.

Out of the box
Easy to use. Might need calibration compared to previous oral thermometer. Is not repeatable. May be very precise, but if you don't have some other means of checking you can't tell. Overall it works fast and easy. For both objects and people.

Simple to use
All you have to do is point it at your child’s forehead and a close distance and push a button. You get almost instant reading of a temperature. No more having to tell your young child to hold it under their tongue for a minute or more. Kids today and people expect instant gratification and don’t like to wait. So having this forehead thermometer is a handy tool to have. I personally like the oral under the tongue thermometers. Heck I still like the mercury ones Better I know they are 100% accurate all the time. But my wife and children would much rather use this forehead one than any older oral thermometer cause like say you get a reading rt away at a push of a button. I have noticed depending how far away you are from the forehead and exactly were you point it. You will get a different reading at times. But it’s not a huge difference. Maybe by a .1 to .9%. So it’s getting me in the ballpark if my child has a regular temp of 98 degrees or a fever of 101. That little .7 or .3 may be little different depending how far you are from the forehead when push the button. Yes I’m a little bias since I am a fan of the regular style thermometers but in my large family of 5 kids and a wife and me 6 people out of 7 rather prefer the forehead thermometers over the style I like so I would say overall this thermometer has a better rating by my faimly as a whole over your older thermometers. Sure your family would agree. It’s a good thermometer for a family

Quick and Easy to use as well as can measure other thing around the house.
As usually setting the clock was a little fiddly and it would have been nice to have some sort of cover over the part that takes the temperature at least but those are really very minor issues. This forehead thermometer take just a second or so to take your temperature and seems fairly accurate as well. It can measure temperature in C or F so you can use which ever you prefer. It is really easy to read even without my glasses, but you don't even need to see the numbers as the LCD is color coded with green, orange, or red to indicate if you are normal, have a little fever, or have a higher fever. You can also use it in "Object mode" to measure the temperature of objects from 32F-212F (0C-100C) with "Low" or "High" Indications if you go under or over the range it can measure. If your temperature is at or over 100F (37.8C) in addition to the red screen it will beep at you to make sure you know.It even came with batteries, and the memory feature was a nice extra as well.I really don't have any complaints. It seems to work fine and the readings are inline with my regular thermometer.

Let it read the room before you start using and you'll be swell
This is a really handy thermometer to have. Press the start button, let it warm up, put it against your forehead (or any legit place to take an external temperature I suppose, but since we all have foreheads, I'm sticking with that), press the read button and read. It's that simple and it works. (The green light picture is my temperature which has always run low, proving the efficacy of this item, to me, at least) It also has (at least theoretically, since I haven't run them out yet) good power saving for the two AA batteries that it requires (and it comes with two). If you have kids (I don't), this really make taking their temperature easy as pie -- it's instant, doesn't require any discipline on the kid's part (except standing still for maybe a half second) and will do the trick. I live with someone who is constantly worried about having "something". Now I don't have to sterilize between uses (I suppose when they actually have something, I'll see if I'm worried); they can take their temperature until the 12th of Never and I won't have to worry. I think this is a terrific improvement from my day as a child when having your temperature taken could be a lot more, um, complicated and intrusive. Worth having in your personal medicine cabinet, and can probably travel as well. The manufacturer suggests you prime it for a half hour on first use by letting it find your room temperature. This is worth doing since we did and it works perfectly.

Sound
I'm a night shift RN. One of the reasons I opt for an infrared thermometer is so I won't wake up my patients if I don't have to. NOT having a beep was a nice function of my previous no touch... this has no option to turn it off. Oh well. Otherwise very pleased.
