A very responsive, sensitive device (and support)
I had ordered one of these devices back in March, and it worked so well that I ordered two additional ones. I have paired them with a Hubitat Hub, and can confirm that it does work with that platform with both the built-in driver in the hub, as well as the community Tuya mmWave driver that is available in the Hubitat Package Manager. The device is remarkably sensitive and can detect motion from quite a distance (6 meters, if not farther). Please note that installation location is important. I had a ceiling fan in one location, and if the fan was on, the device would not go "inactive" for motion detection, so plan your placement carefully! Also, if you pair with Hubitat, be sure to give it time (up to 24 hours?) for it to fully show all the motion and illuminance capabilities.Linptech support was very helpful and responsible for help via Amazon Seller interactions, and was willing to dive into the details to help me with my initial challenges (which were patience and knowledge issues on my part). One thing to note is that you need to have firmware version 1.0.6 on the device to have the capability to disable the LED, and the only way to upgrade the firmware currently is via the Tuya hub. Two of mine came with 1.0.5, so they went in locations where the LED doesn't matter. So, depending on which firmware comes on the device, you might not be able to turn off the LED in a non-Tuya (Hubitat) hub. But other than firmware updates, the rest seems to work well.

Basic config in Home Assistant with ZHA; easy setup and works great.
In ZHA for Home Assistant there is only one entity for presence (On/Off). Use Zigbee2MQTT and you’ll have many more entities exposed to be able to tweak and tune to your liking. Honestly though, for under $30 this is a great mmWave presence sensor. It updates state within 10 seconds under ZHA, so I didn’t bother moving it to Zigbee2MQTT, even though I run both ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT.However, I really hate that blinking blue LED. It flashes ever 5 seconds when it detects presence. I put some black tape over it. Without that defect/‘feature’ I would have given this 5 stars.

Fast and accurate detection of Human Presence with one glaring oversight
Update 9/9/2023I am adding one star back as I did get an installation manual. It's small and was stuck to the bottom of the package. 5 stars, excellent sensor! The good:I have used and tested many different mmWave radar sensors. This one surprised me. It is accurate without false positives/negatives. It has a few options to tinker with, but that's a good thing. This sensor is as close to plug-and-play as these sensors get. This is even true with out-of-the-box settings. If these person presence types of sensors are to become mainstream this is what is needed. You do not need to be a tech nerd to use this ES1. My elderly father could set this up without too much trouble when pairing to a Tuya Hub. I tested this on a Hubitat hub with beta drivers, and it works with reduced settings options. That does not seem to affect the performance much at all. Paired with my Home Assistant using ZHA was not working. It showed nothing sensor-wise that could be used. I tried the HA with Tuya integration, and that worked. You just set it up in the Tuya hub, and use Tuya integration to bring it over. There are a lot of YouTube videos that show how to set up the Tuya integration for HA.The build quality is very high compared to most of these types of products out there. Those others feel cheaply made. With creaky, hard plastics that can have sharp edges in places. The ES1 is nearly on par with Aqara FP1, and FP2. The Aqara sensors are Apple-made, while the ES1 feels like a high-end Samsung phone. I am amazed that the ES1 is as cheap to purchase with such good build quality. It feels like it should last many years. I do not know if it will or not, but that is the impression it gave me.The bad:Mine did not come with any instructions whatsoever. That would turn off a lot of people who could get frustrated and return the product. The ES1 is very close to my father's approval, but not there yet. A manual, or QR code to download a manual is needed. I am not sure if mine just did not make it into the box during production, or if this is how they all come. Both are worrying to me. This is not an entirely new product. It is an upgrade/update from the BlueTooth Low Energy model to Zigbee. So this type of production problem should have been worked out already. I would have given this product 5 stars if it were not for this oversight. Even so, 4 stars is not bad. It still is a great product if you just Google it for anything in question.

Cheap Product to Replicate Brand Name
The sensor arrived in a nondescript box with no branding, instructions, or power block. It is powered by an included USB C to USB A cable (why not USB C on both sides?).During set-up, I was skeptical because there was not any visible indication that the unit turn bed on. After researching, I found that the light is customizable on/blink/off after setup. The device did not show in Home Assistant or Apple Home and without a brand or app, I don’t know if there’s a particular setup for this device. After trying multiple blocks including my laptop dock which I know for certain works, I decided this unit is DOA and proceeded with a return.
