Having recently bought a guitar, I was recommended to get a guitar capo as well as some sort of tuning device. I already had a guitar capo, but needed a tuning device since my guitar sounded slightly out of tune. This handy device is a guitar capo with a guitar tuner built into the top handle. The clamp is firm but coated with rubber so wont damage you musical instrument.The device operates using a CR2032 (supplied) and clips onto the neck of most guitars. The guitar is used as a capo in the usual manner by clamping across the strings. To use it as a tuner you attach it to the neck off the strings so that it can detect the vibrations of the strings. Tuning is easy just pluck/adjust each string until the tuner indicates the correct tuning is achieved. Allows following tuning modes: Guitar / Bass/ Chromatic, with good sized display to allow easy reading.Comes with a brief instructional guide to use, if you have not used one of these devices before. The capo is fairly light weighing around 100g so is about the same weight as many simple capo units.Overall well made, great combo of capo /tuner great price.

This does it's job well. I use it like a normal clip-on tuner on the headstock. The tuning is more accurate than I'd expected and it's easy to read. I haven't bothered to investigate all it's clever modes properly yet, but I can tell you that you can set the tuning frequency base for A to anything between 430Hz and 450Hz, in steps of 1Hz. It defaults to 440Hz. You can aslo select Bass, Guitar or Chromatic for the indication style, e.g. if you select G for Guitar, it will show you the string number and note when you are close to the right tuning, and the needle indicator shows how far out it is above or below. The backlight goes green when you're bang on. As a capo it's got a good spring and stays in place well. Don't need to carry both a tuner and a capo now.

Works well as a capo, pretty useless as a tuner.The screen doesn’t light up half the time, it doesn’t pick up lower tones. Feels a bit cheap.I’ve used an app on my phone every time since owning this. It’s not worked properly once for me. I wouldn’t normally be so down about a cheap gadget but the use of the word “Professional” in the product name has wound me up.

it's a very well build capo and works very well, it's nice and study and my son like's using it as a capo alone.the tuner side of the product is also relatively good however it can sometimes be quite unresponsive and takes a while to get used to and understand (it could be me). it comes with a battery which I like and some useful instructions. I was also surprised that the tuner could also be used on a bass guitar.

What a simple but amazing little tool that any guitar player would love! Very accurate tuner which also allows you to set the precise frequency, the LCD screen changes to green when the string is in tune. Also works with bass aswell and of course it's also a capo! Definitely would make a great present for any guitar player!

Bought 2 capo/tuners. Both of the tuners lit up and then went black immediately. No improvement with new high quality batteries. Capo function has a very powerful springs which adversely distort tuning in use. AVOID.
