I had tried 2 different brand nail grinders and they were junk! I returned them within a few days. So I was very pleasantly surprised with the very high quality and performance of this manufacturer's products. The clippers are sharp and clip very well. The grinder is very smooth & quiet but really powerful. It grinds the nails down in about 10 seconds per nail on my German Shepherd with medium sized nails. You can actually see the ground nail dust flying off the wheel. As you can see, my GSD shows no discomfort, pain or fear. Many dogs will be nervous with a grinder. Don't immediately give up and return the grinder. Have a bag of small treats. Turn the grinder on and hold it near their ear and give treats to calm & distract them. Then turn the grinder on (with cap on) and touch their feet so they feel the gentle vibrations and reward wih treats. Then slide the running grinder up the outside of their legs rewarding & distract them with treats. If that goes well with the grinder running (cap on) I would slide it over their whole body EXCEPT for their head. The vibrations on the skull might scare them. Depending how much they relax, you can try grinding a nail. When I first started with Daisy (in video) I gave a very small (meat) treat before and then after each nail so it was about 16 treats. After the 1st couple of times I now give her one treat and then one after each foot and in return as you can see she is calm and cooperative. Also when you 1st start, it's better to take very little off of the nails and do it every few days and when you dog is accepting you can grind down a larger amount. I grind Daily's once a week when I give her a good brushing. To be successful you have to do "baby steps" like i have mentioned above. If you hurt or scare your dog by being too aggressive or impatient in the beginning you will ALWAYS be struggling to clip or grind your dogs nails. You have to realize noise & vibrations are foreign to dogs. If you start slow, your dog will trust you. I just tell Daisy it's "grind nails time" and she jumps on the table and lays down. I know you will really like the quality & performance of this company's product. I almost forgot. I use a nail clipper on my own nails but there is always a rough edge from the clipper. Looking at what it does to Daisy's nails, I decided to try it on mine. I took off the small/medium nail guard and instantly ground smooth the nail edges. A few times I hit my finger tip and as in my video, the grinding wheel is so smooth that it doesn't hurt skin at all. There are two wheels so you can use 1 for your pets and 1 for your family members. Buy this product, you will love it!

We’ve been using this nail grinder for about three months and it’s noticeably quieter than others we’ve owned. Even on the higher speed, the sound isn’t sharp or overwhelming. The two speed settings are actually useful - the lower speed works well for the Pom’s thinner nails, and the higher speed handles the Pug’s thicker nails without stalling. The grinder fits comfortably in my hand and the length feels just right. It’s not bulky, so it’s easy to maneuver around tiny paws without bumping into their pads. The clear cap helps guide the nail into place, and I like that it doesn’t feel awkward to hold even during longer sessions. The LED lights are a huge help for darker nails. For training purposes, this has made a big difference, the Pug still doesn’t love nail time, but she tolerates it way better now because the process is smoother, quicker, and not as loud. Having a calmer start makes the whole session easier, she used to get over heated, struggle till she ran out of breath, and eyes turn red from struggling... no longer. Cleaning is simple. The removable cap pops off and you can tap out the dust in a few seconds. The grinder wheel wipes clean without any buildup, and after months of use we’re still on the first wheel even though it came with extras. Overall it’s easy to use, easy to clean, fits well in the hand, and the multiple speeds and LEDs make it much better for training a nervous dog to stay calm during nail care. I’m really happy with it, now if only the Pug could learn to enjoy it.

This item arrives in a tiny box and you'll think it can't possibly hold all the pieces advertised but they'll all be in there. The grinder is small but powerful. It arrived charged. I had let my dog's nails get overgrown (I really dislike doing nails) but it took them down pretty quickly. The dogs weren't bothered by the sound - it is quiet and my family couldn't hear it form the next room. The nail clippers that come with it are huge and a piece of junk but the grinder itself is nice and I am keeping it. It only comes with a little cloth storage bag but I'm just going to keep it in the box. So glad it's rechargeable - no more batteries! Oh, it works best if you hold it in your right hand - didn't know a grinder could have handedness but I'm a lefty and it goes - the lights are more useful held facing me anyway so I'm not even mad.

So far ive used them once on my border collie, grinder is quiet and the led lights were a nice touch. The main reason I got this kit was the nail trimmers that were included and they worked well, grips are large enough my hand fit them well. The small bag it comes with can hold the clippers and all accessories, if you pack them in tightly, I didnt want to loose them before next chance of me getting to use them again

Great power for such a quiet nail grinder. Two levels of strength, both were quiet enough to keep dog calm and strong enough that it didn't take forever to trim nails. Design came with safety guard for nails, which helped with efficiency. Charged very fast, easy to use and came with storage bag.

Great product! The sound is so quiet yet it grinds the nails quickly! The guards are nice also when my dog moves his legs around. Best nail grinder I’ve used so far! My dog stays much more calm now for nail trims.

Tengo una schnauzer miniatura de 7 años bastante consentida ... no le gusta que le toquen las patas , esta herramienta funciona muy bien , es super silencioso. No duden en comprarlo. En poco tiempo las garritas de mi perrita quedaron super bien.
