Crete - Michelin National Map 759 (Michelin Maps National, 759)

Nice to look at but did not try driving with it. I suppose if a hire car had sat nav we could have had a drive about and used the sat nav to get us back to the hotel, but just looking about at some of the roads put me off, narrow and not very smooth. Plus car hire was quite expensive. Crete is very pretty though with mountains.

Good detailed map showing small villages as well as big towns. Be wary of the less travelled routes on Crete. Some of them are very precarious and road surfaces are, in general, poor. Obviously, a map can't show this, but just be aware if you are a tourist to the island.

The map was large scale which was good. Some of the place names were quite difficult to identify being in Greek and not always recognisable English. The free map from the car hire company was easier to use for the main routes and for more detail, I had to stop and study the Michelin map.

Haven’t used this yet but it looks to be detailed enough to help when we need it. Bought it as sometimes we have not been provided with maps by hire car companies!

We used this map on a recent holiday. Good amount of detail for driving.

The map is perfectly adequate but the paper is too lightweight and tears along the folds.

I had a difficult time reading this map because the size of the font. I had to use a magnifying glass!

deze kaart is zeer gedetailleerd maar te groot om in een wagen nuttig te zijn. Het eiland is ongeveer 250 - 300 km lang en de volledige lengte is op de twee kanten van de kaart geprint!! dwz dat het oostelijk deel op één blz staat en het westelijk deel op de andere zijde.
