Really do hold the strap on to your instrument!
I was worried these would not do a good job holding my straps on my instruments. I've used a few different types of strap locks over the years but didn't want to have to add them to the body of my new bass. It is a VERY tight fight.I've tried them on my new Cort Premium series bass, my PRS electric, my Breedlove American acoustic. Each has a bit of a different strap button style. These are SUPER tight on each. They are not easy to get on and off, especially with a padded strap. So, take that into consideration.I was surprised how well they held the strap on. I think these will work nicely. I wouldn't fling my instrument around in circles with them (like you could with button strap locks) but for taking the instrument off and on on stage I think they will hold very nicely.

A Must Have! How Did I Get By Without Them?
A strap lock is a strange little critter, indeed. I have never used them before because I just did not pay that much attention. Heck, I was hardly even aware of them.Well, after getting a strap that was less than first-class; I found out why they are important. Every time I would put my bass back on its stand, the strap would either come off or nearly come off. This is unacceptable. It would be even worse for it to happen while playing. So, I saw these here and decided to get the 3 set package.Turns out it was a wise and inexpensive fix! I will have these on ALL of my basses and guitars in the future.
