Tap with a mind of its own!
If I could give this no stars I would! Totally unfit for purpose. The day after fitting, heard our combi boiler running. Went downstairs and the tap was running, turned it off. Same thing happened a couple hours later! The problem seems to be the mechanisms which are right at the end of their travel, plus thin washers. When the tap is turned off, somehow the mechanism jumps (pressure of water maybe?) and the tap runs at about half flow! I tried changing the washers for thicker ones but it made no difference, only happened on the hot side (wondering if the tap seat had been machined too deeply?) Anyway into the scrap bag it went! Buy cheap, buy twice!
