Absolutely One of the Worst things I Ever Watched
Boring, terrible acting, bad camera work. There's a reason Rod Sterling never produced this story. It may have been something on paper (doubt it), but on screen it is complete garbage.

One for TZ completists only
Two stand-alone spooky stories which fall short of the mark. These 'discovered' scripts were found in the 1990s and released under the TZ banner. They don't have the genuine wit, charm and spark of the original series, nor the polish of the later revival. After watching them you can see why the scripts weren't filmed originally; they're one-dimensional scare-stories with very little substance.Equally, the production, direction and acting is so clumsy that they don't work as straightforward campfire ghost yarns, but instead lumber along with hammy performances and some dreadful dialogue. The dubbing is weird and mis-synced, too.Even so, we didn't quite hate them and watched both to the end. The longer, second film is set in the 1880s and has a better storyline - even if the delivery is bargain-basement basic. If you're not a TZ enthusiast the nthere's probably little reason to watch these. They've no great merits of their own.OK if you can stream them for free, but we wouldn't want to pay for these.6/10

TZ & JEJ
In true Twilight Zone style, the first story - The Theatre, is a short story. The second story's really just been 'dragged out' to justify worthy sales costs & admin fees. The second story - 'Where The Dead Are' is more like a movie drama and is the longer of the two stories - which I'm sure could have been cut down to a more tantalising TZ short story. As a TZ fan - (all versions) - I have given this 4 Stars, but the dubbing and editing is absolutely atrocious. A very big let down to the series.Maybe it was just my copy of the digital version, but... James Earl Jones seems to be opening his mouth wider than usual as if he's miming the words, and the timing...the timing, more noticeable with the second story and James Earl Jones miming... the speech mouth movements are not synchronised with the voice timings. What's going on in 'tinsel town'?Two Great Black American actors narrating on the lesser successive Twilight Zone episodes/series - James Earl Jones on The Lost Classics from the 1990s, and Forest Whitaker on Twilight Zone 2002.Thank You!

Five Stars
A really enjoyable film but wouldn't say it was Twilight Zone. Definately worth watching though.

Only if you really love TTZ, even then you still might not like this!
Managed to get through the first one, just OK & very 90's, but crashed before the end of the second one, just far too turgid , dreary & overly long. I'm afraid even for a Zone fan, these really aren't worth your time as well, they're not very Zoney & frankly there's better things to waste your free time on!

Not Serling's prime stories but a nice addition to the collection
As i said, these certainly aren't his best stories (or adaptations in this case) but it's nice to have them physically in my Serling colection and for being DVD the image quality is pretty good, specially if you're using hdmi.
